He’s probably the best Life Size Snowman ever made! Love all his animation and it was quite fun repairing him. He’s one of the more uncommon Christmas animatronics that was sold over here, but still definitely worth getting if he pops up at a reasonable price. Thanks for watching mate!
@@halloweenhaunting1004 Yep I’ve just given it a watch, I really like how detailed your reviews are! I have to say I really like the effect it has with the multicolour lights 🎄
You can manually unlatch the hooks around the leg area if he doesn’t pop up when you push him down, be careful though as the collapse mechanism is fragile on these older ones. Also make sure to check if the locking pins under the base have been removed as they will stop it from going up.
What type of screw holds the arm on? The arms of my snowman just want to slide off as the screw I had originally thought went into it, doesn't actually hold anything down in place. I can't find any information on the arms.
@HauntedSkull Thanks for the reply. Are you talking about a screw like the one found in the neck? I was thinking it might be one like that, but I'm not sure how I would have misplaced them. I'll look around again though
I have him it's Brill only thing I'm having a problem with is putting him back in the box it does not seem to be clicking in have you any idea on what I can do please
Just from speculation as I’ve had these issues with the Gemmy Santa, it sounds like the locking hooks might have broken in him, if you’ve seen the broken pieces I’d recommend glueing them, otherwise you’d need some replacement ones 👍
@@HauntedSkull hi thanks for replying so quick, I'm not sure what in looking for. Have you put him away if not could you take a picture of what I'm looking for. Thanks
You’ll need to take the head off then take out the staples around the neck that are holding the suit in place. After that you’ll have access to unscrewing the 6 screws that had the shoulder bracket in place. When that’s off, you’ll need to unscrew the arms and after that you should be able to remove the suit :)
I love these animated snowmen. i have a small snowman that sings and dances to frosty the snowman. he's so soft and adorable.
My dad really wants this
I don’t blame him, this is still the best life size snowman ever made in my opinion!
@@HauntedSkull it sure is apart from the guitar Santa especially the one with the two elf’s
@@harleyfett4887 I agree, I wish they’d pop up more often, I haven’t seen a guitar Santa for sale since 2020 in the UK
Great video mate. He looks 👀great. This is a classic Gemmy prop which has amazing animation in my opinion. 😀⛄

Great video mate he 8s so cool sorry for the late comment I was watching home alone
Thank you mate I’m glad I finally have him, and no worries, Home Alone is a great movie!
👻
I really like this one. I love the recordings he has too Gemmy sure had some great singers :)
They really knew how to do these back in the day, so much better than the remakes. His voice really suits him too!
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Glad you enjoyed!
I have one of the dancing snowman I bought it in 2002
He’s a very nostalgic animatronic! A true classic!
Can’t get or snowman to pop up. Otherwise it’s in really good shape. Is there a manual way of getting him up? Thanks

@ what are the hoods please?
@ what are the hoods? Thank you
@@ChuckEsp The locking hooks sorry, they come from the shoulder piece and lock into the legs
Could you do a review on a singing Santa and snowman reaf
Which ones sorry?

I’m almost certain it was a rather large screw with a washer around it as it’s like that with the Santas and they use the same parts :)

I have one of theses guys it’s a French version with an English speaker only the head movements work on him
That’s cool, hopefully he can be fixed one day! 🤞
I found one near me but it’s $70 and 2 hours away, is it worth it? Also amazing restoration!
Thank you! For that price I’d go for that in a heartbeat personally, the Gemmy life sizes are by far superior to ones made today!
