The Christmas Tree
A Christmas tree with flickering lights creating a unique festive atmosphere nestled at the center of Plaza A. The Christmas tree will be consisted of 180 small sized real trees and upon the completion of the Christmas period, the trees will be donated for plantation.

Helios
A bespoke, large-scale lighting installation by Algorithm, giving the impression of a field full of light and motion. It is formed using 7500 custom LED spheres, meticulously positioned into a circular display. Colors and shapes are changing according to a specific program creating a huge digital canvas where ribbons of color wash over the Zen Garden. Live a breathtaking immersive experience while the bespoke audio composition plays in harmony with the lights and motion!

Stalactite
A monumental kinetic light installation created by Christopher Bauder and Boris Divider. The Space Frame system constructs an inverted pyramid shape. The layers of light rods create pulsating light animations generating complex shapes and light patterns. The light animations are directly synchronized with electronic music. The structure floats above you! You can gather beneath it and become a part of it!

A colorful Christmas market with F&B and retail kiosks welcomes you for seasonal shopping and tasting! Wander around the festive market and the gorgeously decorated kiosks packed full of handmade Christmas charms, unique gifts, seasonal items and tempting culinary delights.

THE HEART OF THE ELLINIKON
An iconic destination
The Experience Park introduces the promise of The Ellinikon.
Built on the site of Athens’ historic airport and next to the three Air Force hangars, The Experience Park - designed by the architects doxiadis+ - is a unique place for everyone, offering something new for all visitors.
It signifies the initial green shoots of a much greater transformation. The Experience Park is the first piece of the Ellinikon Park and the public beginning of The Ellinikon.
The Ellinikon, planned by the world-renowned firm of Foster + Partners, is Europe’s greatest urban regeneration project - a multi-dimensional destination centered in one of the largest coastal parks in the world.
Upon full completion, The Ellinikon will have a total area of 6,200,000 sqm. The project will set new benchmarks for the future of Mediterranean coastal development - for integrated, sustainable living.
I'm trying to remember this portion of the base as it was in 1981 and 1982. It appears that the MAC Terminal has been torn down. When I visited Greece in 2016, I wasn't able to gain access to this part of the former base. Good memories there.

16 χρόνια μετά τους Ολυμπιακούς κάτι, επιτέλους, κινείται. Ελπίζω να εγκαταλείψουμε τους ρυθμούς, χελώνας και σαν κράτος και σαν κοινωνία. Το μέλλον δεν μπορεί να περιμένει. Πολλά συγχαρητήρια για ένα βίντεο γεμάτο, προσδοκία και δημιουργία!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ποδήλατα επιτρέπεται???
Δεν υπάρχει τέτοια ενημέρωση. Αλλά έχω την εντύπωση ότι δεν επιτρέπονται.
Με το Τραμ σε ποια στάση κατεβαίνω για να ερθω;κ υπάρχει πολυ περπάτημα ;
Δεν νομίζω να σε βολεύει το τραμ, δεδομένου πως η είσοδος είναι από την λεωφόρο βουλιαγμένης.Νομιζω το metro είναι πιο βολικό.
Τραμ μόνο να πάτε Γλυφάδα και μετά από εκεί με λεωφορείο.
Αν δείτε όλο το βίντεο υπάρχει ενημέρωση για τους τρόπους που μπορεί να προσεγγίσει κάποιος το πάρκο.
