I have been officiating same-gender weddings since 2010 (before they became legally recognized). The weddings have always been joyous for two reasons: 1) there is 100% love and acceptance by all present, and 2) no one there takes getting married for granted.
It’s like she finally saw how beautiful she is, such a breakthrough moment to see your true self and beauty at long last. And for her family to see her see herself how they see her it’s just so lovely

I WAITED SO LONG for my daughter to "come out". I suspected since she was REALLY young, but I didn't know how to approach the subject.....I'm glad the world is so much more aware and accepting now! It's getting better, can't wait until it's accepted by EVERYONE! Probably not in my lifetime, but I KNOW it will happen! My daughter has found SO MUCH acceptance in my community. Her workplace and management are awesome! I'm in Lincoln, Nebraska. If we can find support here, I'm sure you can find it anywhere if you put out positive vibes!

I felt the dresses were too similar to be compared. Usually, Gok pulls a bit more wow factor. The skirts on all were very plain, almost unfinished looking. Her pretty face carried off the look. Not much embellishment was needed.
I simply adore GOK! The fact that he gave Sophie the courage to be and love herself is a wonderful thing! Kudos to Sophie's family for their love and acceptance. I hope Sophie and Sandy share many years of love and happiness.

I enjoy seeing the brides and their entourages on this show, but so many brides seem to have tattoos and I don't like the way they look. I am NOT making any judgements on other people's choices. Sophie doesn't seem to have any visible tattoos andI think her skin is wonderful. Her skin has a beautiful colour and a luminosity that is exquisite - skin that is a gift.
