What nobody tells you is that the path to personal growth is a lonely one. When you finally choose to muster up courage and rise above your circumstances, to recognise that your pain is no longer about what others did or what destiny is doing to you but who you’re being and you say I’m going to do what it takes; be a warrior in front of fear, seek out all the wounded parts of me and bring them to the surface to face them. Then the most rewarding healing begins releasing one misguided ‘truth’ after another and replacing it with compassion, love, and what you now understand as truth. It is the most rewarding liberation from self bondage. Except the friends you used to connect with over ’he did/she did….’ and receive exaggerated validations of gasped responses or judgements of emotional crucifixion of others now feel like mindless chatter and misplaced energy. Even being around them and saying little feels like a waste of time to spirit when the rewards are much greater going within. It is a lonely path, I’ve come to accept that loneliness with my spirit as the remedy to my soul, the remedy to longing for the divine, to seeking a connection much greater than I can imagine with the force of unconditional love that manufactured this whole mystery of existence. The right human will elevate. Until then walk alone, enjoy the journey, return to the childhood self that was filled with curiosity, sense of discovery and satisfaction over novelty, newness, learning, expanding, and growing. It will always be a fulfilling wonder…

I’m just in the middle of reading her book. I didn’t know Mindvalley did free meditations so had a look today and did 3 of them today. I will be doing them everyday now.. I absolutely love her name Agapi! A beautiful video. I never feel lonely, I speak to spirit more than humans. But for the ones that do feel lonely, look inside to find peace within and ask spirit they do hear and answer your prays !!
Very interesting! I started meditating a few years ago and have found happiness within myself in my journey. I have good friends who are ok with existing in the material world and that doesn't really affect my friendships with them. I'm still capable of understanding that they seek fun, entertainment and escape, even if it's in a different way than how I seek it. What I don't understand is when people judge others who are going through spiritual journeys, thinking they are withdrawn from others and are selfish. I suppose there are people who have spiritual elitist attitudes but there are also many others who choose self-reflection and meditation in order to exist in a peaceful way on this Earth and to seek connection with other souls. There is nothing self-centered about that approach. The more peaceful people there are on the Earth, the better it is for everyone.
You are right about what others have to say about when you choose a spiritual path. Life on earth is generally an egoistic and materialistic conditioned life. People are being taught to compete and control whatever possible in order to gain possession of whatever that is in the physical realm. Ultimately such life is taking us nowhere. When you choose another path you are being labelled as sick or mentally disordered. Keep up your good work of seeking the essence of 'who am I'.
Now we can accept evolve into all is Spirit and the Oneness of love! I love being of service with my gifts & science evidence based therapy! Thank you for being one of my kind- all beings who are here to love & be love!
