Watch Stinky Pete burn his biscuits and Woody get fixed in live action. Toy Story fans have waited over 20 years to reunite the Roundup gang- the wait is finally over! Mattel has finally released Stinky Pete in a 7-inch figure. We finally have the complete set!
While we would’ve loved a larger figure, Mattel has done a fantastic job in capturing all of the likeness of Stinky Pete from the movie into the action figure. Take a look at the sculpting on his face. He’s even got his signature gold tooth. While the clothing isn’t fabric, we love the sculpting details on his scarf and overalls. You can even see folds and stitches. We only wish you could remove his hat.
Love the little patch detail on his behind. The original Stinky Pete was a vintage pull-string doll from the 50s, but since this is an action figure- the pull string isn’t real.
We love the articulation. You can move his head all the way around.
His arms can swing in and out and rotate around. There’s an elbow and wrist joint. He can actually hold the pickaxe in his cupped hand. Love the woodgrain sculpting on the ax.
Given his form, we’re amazed at the articulation in his legs, though his feet don’t rotate. Surprisingly, he can stand, too.
Honestly, we really didn’t need Woody in this set, but we love his new expression. His permanent smile looks just as in the movie when he was in toy mode in Al’s Toy Barn. Other than his new face sculpt, there isn’t much different here. Like the other figures in the line, he’s solidly built and has great articulation. Andy’s going to have a hard time ripping this.
