    @rainpoint. 1st connection worked one season. Then the Wifi Socket Hub lost the connection without any reason, after that no re-connection is possible. Like other comments as well - no fxxxing chance to reconnect it to my wifi again. I even setup a clean new 2.4 wifi. But no chance. It wont connect. I tried AP Mode as well. So annoying the app and all - it is not that intuitive....!

      First of all, we are sorry to bring you a bad experience!
      After changing router or new network, due to the change of related network configuration, if you want to use the configured devices normally: you need to remove the previously configured devices before selecting Re-network and add them, all WiFi devices and wireless gateways need to be re-networked.
      *All WiFi devices and wireless gateways need to be re-networked:
      1. Power off the gateway.
      2.Press and hold the center button and plug it into the outlet again without releasing the button.
      3. After a few seconds, the blue indicator light will be on for a while (do not release the button during this period) until the blue indicator light starts to blink rapidly and then you can release the button;
      4. At this time, the gateway indicator light to keep the fast flashing state, can EZ distribution network
      5. You can add a few more times to try or long press to slow flash, switch to AP network mode, can increase the success rate!

    If it suddenly rains while the timer is watering, will it delay? If not How can I disable an ongoing watering schedule. Please advise, thanks

      If you see that rain is imminent, you can simply turn the watering schedule off via your mobile RainPoint APP. You can also turn on a rain delay, which will automatically start a countdown to the delay once it's set.

    I had been using the timer for about 4 months and it was working great. Then I lost my connection and haven't been able to get it connected, no matter how many times I try, since then. I contacted Rainpoint looking for help a couple of months ago with no response whatsoever.
    My app does not give me the option for Network Configuration Mode with the "AP' Mode button as shown at 1:03 of the video. My initial set up went very easily and I had to reset a couple of times with no success. I would really like to use the timer again, when it was working it worked very well. Can anyone help?

      Same problem here.
      I concluded that it refuses to connect to a known wifi.
      It is working fine for a new wifi name. I tried with hotspot from my phone and there was no problem connecting to it.
      If you don't mind changing the name of your wifi, give that a try.
      I tried to reset the device according to rainpoint instructions, but since I can't reconnect to my original wifi name, I assume the factory reset didn't work.

      @@tunnnnnnnnnnn Make sure that you are connecting to 2.4 GHz, not 5 GHz

      @@tunnnnnnnnnnn Did you find any solution? I have the same issue here ... and tried out new Wifi, definitely 2.4GHz and so on...nothing works ....

    This decreases the preassure at least by 30%. 3 rotators an a pipe arnt working.

      Please follow the steps below to check:
      1. Is the distance between gateway and controller too long, please adjust the distance between controller and gateway
      2. Whether the battery power is insufficient, please replace the new alkaline battery power supply
      3. It may be the WIFI network abnormality or signal interference, resulting in the controller is not automatically connected after offline, please keep the stability of the network

    Basically, the design is just not professional. I mean not UI, but the way the system is organized. I think the company just does not have good experienced system architects. Doomed. Returning their garbage.
