You are right to try and deny it is foolish, but what you can do is try to re-frame it with some logical thinking. We are living in duality and there are 2 parts of us, the physical one and the non physical one that is always connected to source, always good, joyous and loving, the only reason you even can experience something opposite of that is because of that true nature of you, if it wasn't for that you wouldn't know what pain and suffering is. Having said all of that you can try to shift your focus from the unpleasant experiences with the knowledge that true you is actually having a blast right now and just try to imagine what the true you is experiencing right now therefore slowly shifting your focus from unwanted to wanted and allowing it to come into your experience aswell. I know that it might sound a bit confusing so feel free to ask for any clarification if you need it.
