  • I briefly considered colour grading the whole video to make the greens more grey-green like the actual watermelon peperomia usually is but it's probably best to be honest about it. This is just a greener leaf.
I mostly make little tiny beads and slab pieces out of these but they make ADORABLE miniature potted plants as well. I'll have a video with some examples of finished items next week.
The clays are mostly Premo - the dark green is Premo Forest with a bit of grey scrap added to tone it down. The lighter green in the blend is half of that mix and half Premo green. The lightest colours are white mixed with a very small amount of grey green scrap and yellow mixed with a very a small amount of grey green scrap.
As always, I'm using an Atlas 150 pasta machine and mostly working on the thickest and third thickest settings (1 & 3 respectively)

I also like it with the slightly deeper green regular peperomias and the slightly reddish stems!

@Tooaquarius I've seen that done before...I don't know why, but it was like I just couldn't work it out in my head where you were going. I love it when that happens...makes it more intriguing 😁

Those turned out so cool! How would one make an ivy leaf. I’ve been wracking my brain and can’t come up with anything.

I have a quite old written thing - www.tooaquarius.com/tutorials/ivy-leaf-cane/ - but it was never great. I'm writing an update into my schedule to try but it'll be in a bit... April maybe?
