- After signal loss from the quick reaction forces of MTF Mercury & Manticore the emergency response team of MTF Ignis are deployed into a severe outbreak of the SCP known as "The Rot Wood" in order to avert a catastrophic breach. Teams will need to landnav through the anomalist forest and reach the mother tree to begin containment before the outbreak reaches the closest population center. SCP briefing at the start of the video!

I realized only like a day beforehand that this video is coming out on Arbor day, what a wacky coincidence lmao. Hope you enjoy Ignis having a peaceful day in nature and thanks for stopping by!
Sorry for asking tho, buut i'm new on the channel, may i ask: What is "ignis group"? Discord server?

Rubix how many times do we have to tell not to go into the forest. Nothing good happens when you do this you end up giving everyone PTSD why do like them to suffer. Though don't stop we enjoy the suffering
When is the ignis opening for recruitment
Things you don't want to hear from your scouts: "Yeah, we done fucked up."
Yeah, that statement doesn't exactly inspire confidence, kinda the opposite in fact.
That is the moment everybody pulls a brick out of their pants, loads a fresh mag, and gets ready for 'this sucks balls' levels of hell.
Jay! Stop going into the cursed woods! We've talked about this: everytime Ignis walks into a patch of land with more than 2 trees, it seems to spawn some form of SCP, unusual anomalies, or vietcong style insurgents. Stick to the deserts.
Hol'up, then...what if Ignis is actually the main SCP, and every time they enter a forest, it instantly triggers a variant?
Or daemons or orks

MTF ignis also happens to be semi immortal which makes them the most easiest to use when dealing heavily dangerous SCP's
The additional clips in the briefing was an absolute joy to watch and really added to the intensity. The work is exceptional, well done.
Thanks I'm glad it turned out decently c:
I really do like the briefing at the beginning is cool
“Is he dead?”
“He’s not alive.”
A pretty good summary of the average SCP mission.
Ignis is like a double bladed sword; on one side, it looks *really fucking fun* to hang out with them and play Arma and a whole bunch of other games.
On the other side, it looks like constant, unending suffering as a devious god-like entity laughs at your miseries and is like, "Yes! YES! MORE! SUFFER MORE FOR MY AMUSEMENT!"
I think it's best described by a SovietWomble quote:
"It's like... weaponized BDSM"
Its like ur having so much fun you get an anuerism from it
I can't get over the combination of professional competence and cracked out idiocy they display. It's the best part of these videos.
I'd say it's more like a sword with no guard or hilt. It's a weapon, but one you'll cut your hands on.
Ignis is slaanesh incarnate
Pleasure in having fun and hilarious friends
But suffering to the game
The guy running for help with the flare, shouting "TURN AROUND!!!" was hilarious 🤣
"IM READY, HOW BOUT YOU?"
*Proceeds to get vibe checked from behind*
Ah, just like Reach.
I was scrolling to see if someone had the same thought. I’m glad someone else did

Love the SCP operations. The horror and hilarity in these mixes well
I like that in SCP operations the bugs just help with immersion.
Ignis seems to have a special relationship with forests
If by special you mean a high attrition relationship, then yes, yes they do. And yet they keep going back into forests.
Probably one of your best SCP ops yet, tbh. The note at the beginning overgoing the in-universe explanation for the SCP is really nice, and I especially love the concept. A tree that weaponizes everything in its vicinity and grows and grows, making a murderous hive-mind that rots away to (presumably) further feed the soil and accelerate its own growth and just spiral from there if its roots aren't contained,
It's a REALLY fun conceit for an SCP. So big props to that!
local MTF goes for another lovely hike in the woods and absolutely nothing bad happened. the MIA members merely got lost and will return shortly. any members claiming to have witnessed traumatic events should be transferred to a psychiatric facility for extended rehabilitation.
MTF NU-7 "Hammer down" has been notified of increasing accidents of this happening and we also found your MIA all in Sweden.... Requesting a transport to a psychiatric facility for rehabilitation.
Can imagine when the team that was sent to pick them up is going to find. Just a bunch of soldiers that seem too lost their minds and the team just thinking how this group accomplished the mission.
I hope someday soon recruitment for Ignis starts back up. It's hard to find a good Arma group these days. Most of the big ones are dead, empty, or take themselves way too seriously. Hard to get any Arma footage if they're too focused on acting like navy seals rather than having fun.
Maybe I'll get my own chance to get my head ripped off by anomalous entities in *THE WOODS*
... shhhh... don't tell anyone, but recruitment might be opening up in the next couple months... rumors that have circulating...
@@thundergunner4284 "If you you have told us is true, you will have gained my trust." That would be big if possible
@Server Meta that's fair, but I’ve got no idea what a large group like them may want in a member
and at the same time other teams just want to fuck around instead of trying to have a coherent game. its way too hard to find a team in the sweet spot of not taking itself too seriously but still trying to play the game.
@@danilooliveira6580 there used to be lots of groups like these guys, back in 2016-18 or so, but they’ve all just faded into nothing. They still have hundreds of members, but dead discords and teamspeaks and no active servers. It’s kinda saddening, because Arma 3 certainly isn’t a dead game.
I'm convinced that Ignis itself if a SCP. Like a beneficial one..
at least most of the time.
for one of the SCP runs this is definitely the calmest I've seen. Not as much chaos as usual...which seems off almost...
edit: I take that back shit went downhill real fast when you fucked with the tree
When an Ignis op is going smoothly.

Abominations screaming in the distance, and then coming towards Ignis.

I love the idea of an MTF soldier just carrying around a hardware-store Sledgehammer and giddily looks for any excuse to use it every mission
Realistically the SCP foundation's budget would be spread incredibly thin. I wouldnt doubt MTFs might have a "bring your own gear" policy, akin to some PMCs.
Some SCPs are gonna be so low priority that the containment budget for a euclid class spatial anomaly is a "keep out" sign and a Masterlock on a door.

The whole Rotwood story would be a good story for a homebrew D&D one shot
this has to be one of the cleaner ops Ignis has ran. relatively low casualties
I take that back
Low casualties, in an Ignis op, that's a foreign concept to be sure.
It's definitely not half as bad as Provins (Where even the Imperium of Man would go "Yeah, let's not do that."

Life is full of hard choices, on the bright side, if you're not an Ignis member, your chance of living goes up, only slightly but still.
I require more of these types of ops. my cheeks are in pain and my ribs are numb and I'm all here for it.
Nothing like a horror topic getting turned into mill sim with a bunch of people with questionble levels of braincells
Most military units: "We never leave a man behind."
Ignis Clan:
Ignis be like: FOR YOURSELVES RUUUUNNNN
I love the way you make the [REDACTED] sound effects. I also love the chaos and sheer hysterical madness of your group.
I'm starting to think that Ignis should just be kept away from forests, vehicles, and grenades in general... When they encounter any combination of those things, stuff seems to escalate fairly quickly XD
I also have the distinct feeling that the LAVs y'all passed by in the underground factories may have come in useful XD
I think when they are in combat in general things escalate quickly and hilarious shit happens
The doctor overseeing their recover: Yeah what the fuck how are you alive
Ignis: We dont have a damn clue!!
The doctor: yeah im pretty sure their all the same type of SCP's
MTF-ignis 75 "Lumberjacks" seems like a fitting callsign for them considering there typical missions with forests and there minimum causality rate when entering any area with more than 3 trees.
12:29 My heart, left on Reach, beats again.
6:00 gave me "modern samurai going up against cosmic horrors" vibes
7:42 Jay, exerting his POWER OF PROPHECY yet again.
Jay: Howdy!

I love how at the end of every operation everyone just start shooting at each other
I can't wait to see if you guys do something revolving around Doom. Seriously, you guys could make being a security team in the UAC in the middle of a demonic invasion look like another day in the office 🤣
10:18 "OH MY GOD! Oh, I'm sorry, God!" My man Ririko, good on ya!
Also, surprisingly clear in his warnings to the others despite PANIC.
Your SCP OPs are honestly my favorite. There's just something fun about the absolute chaos, whether your squad is the cause of it or the most affected by it.
These ops keep getting more and more detailed and complex and I am absolutely loving it! Probably one of the best ops I've seen yet honestly!
props to that last guy trying to save his teammate real good guy that one
1:47 I am rewatching this, can we talk about how if not for the unmoving expressionless unbreathing head and very mechanical reload animation, this could easily be confused with IRL footage?
Seeing all those flashlights moving through the forest just looks so cinematic
also, 12:12 is the SCARIEST thing in this video! XD
The abject terror from everyone is what keeps me coming back for more. That, and the comical moments.
The black and white Go-Pro style shot from the intro was SO nice. Really fed into the "classified files" feel.
Dude I love your SCP videos, and just your content in general, it makes my day. 😂 I was curious if you’d ever thought of doing a multiplayer horror play through or just something solo like GTFO? Thanks for the vids :)
I have no words to describe just how hilarious this is to me as someone soon to be taking bio-chem
"We're scouting the retreat path, we are totally not running away first". 😅
this is got to be the most realistic version of a SCP Attack Force
Man, the quality of the ops, the editing, the music... Everything, is skyrocketing! Keep up this great work!
Toast with the Emile reference 🤘 "I'm ready!! How bout you!?"
The group loves Halo, if it wasn’t obvious. And they’ve done several Arma ops centered around the Fall of Reach, so it’s safe to say that Noble Team holds a special place in the heart of the squad.
Thank you for posting another video. Me and my friends played some Arma SCP operations yesterday, and boy was it crazy.
Libeling how detailed and varied these maps are getting
Much better then just open rocky desert as far as the eye can see.
Words cannot describe the levels of joy your editing adds to this.
Jeez, Rot Wood sounds like a legit SCP, it's got that creep factor like the Flood or 106. Two MTF teams down, that's a huge threat. Trees are just threats to Ignis, all they way back to WW2.
The melee weapon use made me think it'd be cool if the zombified victims had their skin/tissue turned into a wooden material so they were slow and moved less. It'd make them more deadly from range but up close they'd be easy to move around and chop up.
While redacting the identification number is profoundly unhelpful from a organizational and operational standpoint, it's also well within the range of the Foundation's needlessly obtuse decisions that are canon.
Rubix and forests in arma 3 don't mix well.
One of the few vids i get to watch within an hour or 2 of posting. Got to say love the edits and the humor brought on by Ignis.
The fact that yall added the volitile scream from dying light shows how scary these things are
I lost it at the echoing screams of the damned followed by the concerned radio broadcast of, "Hey, we dun f*cked up." XD
It seems like a lot of these operations can be summed up with the sentence "We went into another (X) that we really shouldn't have!"
that scp is so good that you could've told me it was canon and i would have believed you with no questions
Guys how are we sure that Tails himself isn't an SCP hiding in the MTF squads?
Ignis is an SCP
No modern military horror filled massacre is complete without Devourerking's eldritch creations.
What's with the man just phasing into existence at 12:18, he be mad chilling.
The joy this dude has for doing these videos is what makes me love them so much.
I've watched this video a few times now because youtube recommends it over and over again, and I just realized that in most of the clips, there is a background noise of what sounds like a gremlin on comms.
Dude I remember all the of the haarp videos way back and now I finally came back across your channel. I’ve made never been so happy
I'm nicknaming these original SCPs:
SCP-IGNIS
Right now there are 4 of these SCPs:
SCP-7822 the soldier that spawned other soldiers and said screw gravity
SCP-×××× aka the forest shadow demon spawns
SCP-×××× the wierd other dimension with brain melting hivemind
And SCP-×××× "The Rot Wood" aka this thing
Damn felt like this is like Darkwood before it becomes a giantass tree
Ignis should be renamed Kenny Corp, they are always perfectly fine after dying horribly on a mission...
Can we all agree that Tails is the SCP we should all really be worried about
"An MTF team will be here in two days."
Ignis: *Slaughters everything in sight*
I heavily appreciate the use of the Night Hunter scream from Dying Light being used as a monster roar here.
That was hilarious with that scream though 9:30
So, can we make Tails a canon character in the SCP universe? Some sort of security guard with an SCP hammer used to bonk other SCPs? Cause that would legit be awesome.
And this is why Tails should never try to grow a tree again
I saw the thumbnail for this video and i immediately said “ah shit here we go again”
I like how every intro he is in the I want to die voice but casual form while he list the the future tragedies
Ignis and Woods are a bad combo, Tails will be bitten and transform like the last time
U guys r great entertainment! TV nowadays really sucks, so getting to enjoy this entertainment even without a PC capable enough to join ur adventures is a joy! Plz continue to bring us tales of ur many adventures 🙏
It's so funny to watch your videos for this one reason the people that play Arma with you aren't taking it as seriously as they possibly can every time I go to any other Arma UA-camrs their people are super super serious about their missions so watching you guys makes it super fun to watch these Arma videos keep up the good work
Definitely worth a rewatch. ❤️ Loved the music bits. On point with those bro.
Another SCP what could go wrong EVERYTHING EVERYTHING CAN GO WRONG
Bro when they started running back to the underground at the end looked like a movie not gonna lie
That muffled Run Boy Run killed me..
4:52 yeah and with his fedora, something tells me while you were training with a gun, he was studying the blade.
I love how the second that an operator got a melee weapon, they’d become a god and charge the enemy head on. O7
Noice vid!
I like that for wendigo's volatiles we're used, it fits really well.
This is a really well-made SCP document. This should definitely be an actual SCP.
Great video and content as always, Raptor. Once I get my laptop back and Arma 3 reinstalled, I am considering joining the Ignis Corp.
At this point I’m convinced tails is a Scp that is friendly
“ How did that mam get a katana…? “ best question I’ve ever heard
SCP lore writer's be like: Write that down, write that down!!!!
Isn't *that* just Australian wildlife?
And we have more of MTF/SCP Ignis at it again
6:24 Thank you for giving me flashbacks to that song.
The idea of a random MTF soldier waking around with a katana sounds as if he was exposed to Dr. Bright and that one anime wizard PMC scp at the same time time
"We're SCOUTING the escape route. We're totally not running away first."
I think I'm going to steal that line.
Tails’s REACH call back had me dying
