While scanning through UA-cam stitching videos, yours came up in my feed. Now I’m Definitely a new subscriber! I absolutely love to handstitch and spend most of my day doing so because I have chronic back issues. UA-cam stitching videos keep me company in the background I stitch. Now I’m off to watch every one of your videos to date. Thank you for sharing💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦
So glad I found you! Your shop is gorgeous. Your pieces are so beautiful! I absolutely love designing and teaching, and knowing that there are so many beautiful, talented women out there is pure joy! I follow the Roxy girls, Fleur woods, Christine, Corrine and now you, on UA-cam. I just wish that we had this enthusiasm for slow stitching where I live, and that I lived closer so I can attend some workshops and visit your lovely shop! Happy stitching!
So pleased to find you today via Instagram. I love vintage linen and have been a collector for 40+ years. I also rescue pieces others would discard. I always think about the person who created the beautiful piece. I am excited to follow your journey and see your makes. I’m already thinking about making a needle book. Thank you for your inspiration. Cheers from Northeast Victoria. ❤️❤️❤️🌺
Binge watching all your videos as I’ve just found you on my feed 🎉🎉🎉 . I’m so excited to be inspired by your gorgeous stitching . Thankyou Thankyou ❤ Lisa in Uk
I'm sooo glad I found your channel! I'm a Taswegian who loves quilting, slow stitching and all things vintage and textiles. I also did Fleur's course last year!! So inspired by you both ❤
Love what you are making. It’s right up my alley 😁 I was in the Fleur class with you at Sandy’s cake store. I have booked into Fleur 5-day workshop in March in Robertson. Would love to see more videos on YT as you work on this piece or any other type of slow stitching pieces. Thanks for sharing your lovely work.
Oh lovely to meet you - I have just come across you on UA-cam. What a small world. You will love the five day course. The one I did in Nelson was such a treat and it felt so good to have so long dedicated to creating!
Hello, found you and your channel from the Roxy girls. Your art is just fabulous. I love collecting vintage fabric, embroidery, pieces of lace, doilies, etc. too. I started as a quilter so its a fun transition. I look forward to exploring your beautiful projects, thoughts, and finds. ( new subscriber❤)
Great start and best of success with this adventure. I recently started to get serious with my UA-cam channel last November and I'm having a scrappy good time and I know you will also. There are so many wonderful people on this platform who will appreciate and encourage your work. Stay Scrap Happy!
Welcome to UA-cam! If I may offer one piece of advice (meant with helpfulness and kindness). Turn your phone sideways (landscape) which is what UA-cam likes. Hope this helps. My saying is, why blend in when you can stand out! I think you’ll stand out here. 😊 The project you showed at the opening is wonderful. Would enjoy seeing more.
Thank you - it took me a few videos but I worked out landscape and even full screen 😂. Im on a steep learning curve! I have shared some more of that piece in a video that is uploading now.
What a sweet collection of stitching! I have a little three foot by 1 foot steamer trunk full of 1930s-1950s printed linens (lucky me!). You are giving me ideas for what to do with them! Thanks from Chicago.
Nice start to 2024 congratulations on starting your UA-cam channel. Have subscribed and looking forward to watching your creative journey and your channel growing.❤
So lovely to meet you yesterday in your shop with Rachel and Sarah on @roxysjournalofstitchery. I'm in Aotearoa NewZealand, I love vintage embroidered textiles and making books so it's lovely to find you and be inspired by your work🙂
You are the best Bec!!!! I love that you are doing this! Listening to you is one of my favourite things to do - and I too love your honesty, candour and glimpses of your personal life. I am currently listening to your video while I organise my sewing room - (that you inspired me to do a few weeks ago) #livingmybestlife! All the best for your channel! Tania
I run my little online business organically as I’m doing it on no budget lol. I design cross stitch patterns and in the cross stitch world a lot of testers like stitching patterns before anyone else and many don’t expect any payment they just get all materials supplied then send the finished sample back. In knitting there are paid pattern testers usually for garments however some pattern designers also have a group of people who volunteer to knit a pattern and often will use yarn of their choosing from stash and once testing is done they share their finished project on social media which spreads the word. I haven’t yet used testers but have so far stitched my own projects. I have a friend overseas who has a keen eye and really enjoys checking my patterns over for fun. I look forward to seeing your trip to Orange. 🍊
I’m going to love following along! Very keen to see where you explore in Orange as I go there to visit my daughter a couple of times a year and would love to find some more places to explore. Its a beautiful town
I've just found your channel and love your fleur woods piece. I'm doing her online course but haven't dived into starting a piece yet. I would be interested in testing patterns, I have recently tested some fpp quilt patterns.
This is beautiful!!! So do you mean to tell me you will hand stitch all of this? Are all the edges of the shapes sewn down with fine edge stitches so they don't fray? Amazing
Hi Bec, thanks for your response, subtitles are easy to access on UA-cam but not on Instagram . You don’t have to do anything! It’s easily set up via my iPad. Loving your videos ! 😀K @@Sewbecurated

I will try to show you but I do not have a thick UA-camr skin yet and feel super embarrassed in public!
So happy you’re doing this 😊
