This work, commissioned by the Angers Music of the 20th Century Festival, is dedicated to those who, in spite of themselves, yesterday, today and tomorrow, have been, are or will be subject to uncontrolled radiation, and more particularly to the many victims of the Chernobyl accident in 1986. The aesthetic dynamics of this work results from the two combined principles of fission and echo. The use of iteration and its contradiction, controlled proliferation and the rich and varied sonorities of the guitrelle (electric guitar), carefully avoiding the catalogue of effects, contributed to the contrasting expression of the chosen paradox.
