Hard to complain about the fligerfaust with the new plane load outs, almost a fair trade. But, it’s still annoying lol went 84-2 the other day with at least 6 different players actively only using anti air

Bofors which Japan didnt use much since the tech was beyond them had a kill rate of 1% - if it fired the 4 rounds against you so this is the best in ww2. Bad or not japan had worse 20mm which was ->dont hurt me daddy damage and 25 mm somewhat better -150 of those was placed on a aircraftcarrier

Michel Gagné Nerf it. Planes take skill to use, and the fliegers don’t. Plus, it’s a vehicle, and it’s annoying af to wait for a minute or so for a plane to be available only to be instantly shot outta the sky by one of those things... 60 damage tops.
@@samuelbadger4371 Fliegerfaust takes skill to shoot a plane out of the sky with one shot. Usually the plane must be coming head-on and you cannot miss a single rocket. Usually it's because the plane has slight damage as well. So sorry bud but you're wrong. If it took no skill then no planes would be in the sky at all which is not the case. Did you not watch the video? He took 3 of them and lived. Because it takes skill to hit all rockets...

I love your plane videos, I got really good at planes after seeing your videos, I watched how you flew.
I was able to make a plane crash on pacific storm with one of the type 10’s.always a good feeling using a tank or stationary to bring down a pane

I remember when I had around like 96-20 and the other team would straight just all be very toxic and gang on me all because I wanted 100 kills.

Flying a plane on console is so much harder than flying on pc so I definitely don’t mind the 20mm he. Before I used to get 0-2 killed one trafing runs and now I can get 1-5
So I'm not the only one who struggles on console ?

I love this plane..I got 8 or 9 kills in just one sweep over the beach yesterday using the incendiary bombs.
I've been using the 20mm HE cannons and on Jima, most of the time they dont get past the 1st objective and I'll have like 53 kills and 5 deaths thanks to flak or pflueger. On the American side, it depends. If we make it to the final objective, it's just kills for days
flares/cindies will have you top the board most games, can keep score streaks going for mins if you know what your doing. pick up 2-3k streaks up for fun, it stops when you run out of enemies heh

i think one of the reasons dice hasnt had any problems introducing the fliegerfaust ( its been named cancerfaust haha) , is that before the faust, plane would get ridiculously close to the ground for extended periods of time. ( yes you too Dave :D ) and the fliegerfaust kinda helps to keep the planes at a higher altitude . wich i kinda think is more realistic and good for the game. pros and cons. its not at all perfect. but higher altitudes for planes im liking.

I think the Fliegerfaust is somewhat necessary, simply due to the fact that if you are a ground troop and zeros are taking you out a lot, you have to have some defense upon a flying aircraft.
But I still agree they should be nerfed alittle
I’ve had whole squads wiped by these things. They’re why I’ve learned to get so good at using Flak guns. You have to shoot them down the second they start their bombing runs.
i’ve been getting 60+ kills games with this airplane. the incendiary bombs and 4x lmg will destroy anything in the battlefield
On Iwo Jima defense, its nasty having a plane with the 8x rockets as well. You can just stay out of reach of fliegers and constantly keep reking their tanks. Taken out a good 20 tanks in a single game and they dont even get off the beach.

HE cannons and fliegerfausts seem to balance eachother out quite well imo
Edit: Oh and i would really recommend the 2x 530 something bombs, have more power combined and are better for vehicles
@书中自有黄金屋 I must say though, i´d rather have it like that then looking how they fuck up the balancing over the next months just to have it a "just slightly" shitty point by the time the game is done. Its Battlefield overall, and there´s quite the history of overnerfing stuff and have it be broken and/or useless at the end.
@@frenekel by the way I agree with a 5:30 pound bombs they do way more damage to tanks I believe and you could spread them out in the carpet to get Infantry what I like to do is run the 5:30 bail bonds for the Japanese and run the incendiary bombs for the Americans because the Japanese have squishy tanks and the Americans have pink star like tigers against the Japanese

Historically (i know this is just arcade video game) but i think EA can use more paint for the zero skin, that skin they are using is a early paint on the world war 2, I think that a dark green color and old or decayed by use would have been much better and according to the airplane model, the last model that I understand was never made of 4 20 mm guns and it was the a6m8 which had a lot of color darker, seeing it gray gives the feeling of using the earliest model of this plane that only used 2 20mm cannons and 2 7.7mm machine guns

I had a 70-1kill game with the 4 HE 20mm cannons and the incendiary bombs and haven’t been able to stop using the plane since
my new setup for the zero and corsair the one more suited for air to ground i use the 20 mils finned barrels for dog fighting incendiaries spotting flares and improved control surfaces

Here’s a small tip to anyone use the 6 pounders on the beach you can get a lot of kills if you know what you are doing as well as the type 10 basically a big AA gun but it can also be used against infantry and armour.
I'll go back to this game when they have more maps. Same thing I said half a year ago.

Well mate i like to use every weapons, gadgets stationary weapons planes vehicles too, i even like the transport vehicles, especially like those with machine guns.
Fun fact about the a6m2 it suffered from the same problem as the early spitfires and hurricanes that problem being in negative g flight the engine would be flooded and shut off

After experiencing the new planes and seeing other players use them I think the Fliegerfaust should stay exactly how it is, it's impossible to push on Iwo Jima while being shredded by the new planes and pushing uphill. I've won 1 match so far as the Americans out of roughly 25 games. I'm a 3K/D 500SPM infantry player btw. I think it's completely fair, all of the times infantry has been instantly deleted from the map by these planes it's about time the pilots get to feel what it's like getting instantly destroyed with little to no time to react.

I'm 15K/D 6,000SPM player! lol (yes I'm making fun of you, moron) Get over yourself, and stop acting like your special, and certainly stop with the salt. It's hilarious you think yourself as all that. Nothing will change with the planes as they are, nor the Fliegerfaust, people bitch because they want their comfort zone back. Judging by you, I'd say you do too. If it's that bad, don't play the Pacific Maps. If it's not just there, stop playing a game too tough for you, and play something simpler, like lets say... a My Little Pony game. lmao (yes, I actually do play them, owning about 600+ plus games, I play a lot ranging from games for kids, to games for adults.)

they're super useful after the update, they can last a whole minute
almothana I noticed the enemies are not constantly spotted at least for me on ps4. They spot immediately after launching but disappear as I pass and when I circle around they only appear when I get close enough. Maybe it’s a proximity thing?

I wish they would take an inspiration from War Thunder and made the handling/movement of airplanes less clunky.
The problem is that the plane controls for war thunder don't respond well to controllers. So anyone playing on PC would have the advantage

I think the reason why they made the fligerfaust was to let people easily to shoot down a plane if they aren’t that good at using the panzerfaust to shoot down planes
I only use fliegerfaust when annoying level 500s are in planes killing my squad over and over.
I’m 90 percent sure the A6M2 zero had only 2 20mm canons in the wings and 2 7.7mm in the fuselage

The type 9 artillery is anti air. It has proximity fuses. So shoot near aircraft.

Here’s a toxic idea that I thought of, and works really well. Laying air-to-ground AT mines on carriers or strips. Keeps the skies clear😉

how are you supposed to know where your bombs are going in this new patch. im trying to learn how to fly and its super difficult
The only reason that the fliegerfaust is so OP is because the hitboxes of the planes are completly broken. You can tell at 3:48 that not a single rocket should connect, But still half of them does.
It works like a flak cannon with stupid range instaid of a rocket launcher. i also still can't imagine a rocket being fired travels faster than a AA round being shot.
Also i would recomment using the dual big bomb loadout, They do more dmg than the the single on. if you're on target you can kill a LVT in one go.
And you can also split them up on infantry, as one bomb easly wipes 3 ppl standing next to eachother.
Another plus is that you can use the spotting flares wich are crazy OP, they last a minute and the radius is massive.
I went up 0.30 in kdr this week and had a avarge of 25 kdr and plenty of hackusations just by shooting spotted triangles.
The quick bomb loadout is not really worth it anyway if you ask me, cuz the bombs will not be reloaded with the zero if you fly straight from the reload point to the frontline.
You always have to make a pass back anyway before they are reloaded so its not really worth it since the 20MM HE cannons are reloaded straight away anyway.
Its really worth trying it out, i hope you give it a go as resetting the upgrades are free anyway.

I agree that the explosive rounds are too easy, but they've been the only thing I can use reliably from such a high altitude to avoid fliegerfausts. You can't get too close in straffing runs, or else you get instantly destroyed without a chance to react. That kinda renders the bombs useless without the aiming reticule. And I know that the flieger is supposed to deal 90 damge max, but that's not what it seems, I've been one shot from 100hp plenty of times. Maybe I got shot by two people at once, it's just impossible to know that because one second you're ok, the next you're dead. It's honestly giving me PTSD from flying too close to the ground and it turned piloting into an anxiety attack experience.
I've noticed that the guns do more damage in cockpit view vs 3rd person. Til we meet again on the BFV and I ignore your enemy plane 😉.

they should nerf the fliegerfausts range, and ammo cap. As for the HE cannon rounds they should nerf splash damadge or make it a slower rate of fire. Like you Dave im a combined arms player and i use both the flieger and the HE cannons but i also find them annoying to go against.
They should buff the HE round on the BF109
I'm trying to get into piloting more and wanted to know, how do you aim the bombs on the new Pacific airplanes? They aren't like the base planes. They don't have a reticle for where the bombs will drop. How do you do it? Is it just doing it enough you learn or...?

Jay Bruce the Light tank as a AA upgrade, MMG’s has a upgrade to do more damage to planes there are AA stations, regular bullets do damage. Even tanks shoot at planes how much more ways do you need to take down a plane? The fligerfaust needs a big nerf for sure.
They should fear the Corsair cause freedom and the scary sound it’s engine makes
