This is really cool, but it isn't a permanent solution. These new undergrads will eventually leave too. People burn out, and are forced to leave the profession because of the low pay, long hours, and unreasonable demands. Passion for teaching can only fuel you for so long when you can't afford a house or your own kids. Sure some figure it out, but the current cycle isn't sustainable. 15 have stayed on in much favourable years? After dozens or hundreds of students? This is a band aid for a bullet hole.
