I have been saving up a whole bunch of junk mail envelopes, so I'm trying to find different things to do with them. This video couldn't have come at a better time. I love the look of the envelopes you show here, they're so pretty. I don't know if it's weird, but shape is something I always notice, and I'm a fan of the shape of this little project. Also, thank you for sharing your ideas on how to repurpose even the smallest things. It is actually very helpful for those of us who don't have much to work with.

Hi Lillian! I just happened to stumble unto your channel. I'm so glad I did. I saw Eva, from the Bohemian Crafter make this envelopes and I completely forgot about them. I need to use up my collection of junk mail envelopes. I like your idea on stamping on scraps. I'll just start doing that as well. I hope I don't forget this too. I'm going to write it down. Knowing myself I will unless I jot it down in my notebook. Lol! Thank you for sharing. I'll make sure to give you credit on the stamping on scraps. Also, those strips of paper with all the hole punches, use your scraps and use a hole punch and make your own. That's what I'm planning on doing. Love this video! Squirrel! Chuckle.. can’t wait to do these, I saw on another video, can’t remember who, took their book pages they were gluing, stamping on, folded in half, sticky sides together and used the good sides to add to other paper to thicken and make pockets

I've started using Elmer's Glue mixed with a little bit of water instead of using the sticky glue because it bothers me so much and I really liked it better it takes a lot longer to drive at I like it so much better than having my hands completely stuck together
:D Sticky fingers is part of the craft ;) I really don't mind it and can just wipe them clean. I will juggle between different glues and adhesives and right now I am loving the Art Glitter Glue. It honestly just depends on the project I'm working on. :)

I know the feeling with your thumbs. I had cortizone shot and that took care of it. Now have a Dr appointment tomorrow as have carpel tunnel in both hands, the shot took care of left hand but the right one its still numb on middle finger so probably have surgery. Love the envelopes

I really love your personality. I've been looking at lots of videos on how to use junk mail envelopes but this one really has me inspired! I'm going to try to make some of these pockets this weekend. I absolutely loved watching this video! This is such a fantastic use for all those envelopes that I don’t use since I pay nearly everything online. I always love watching people collage since I feel that’s one of my weaknesses. All the ways you use little tidbits of paper is really impressive, too. I think there is a punch that recreates the dot matrix paper. I have it but have yet to use it. I had so much fun that I subscribed to your channel!

Thank you for sharing! You are so inspiring! I saved these envelopes with intentions to repurpose but needed up collecting-how do you store all your supplies? Cereal boxes add up real quick…❤
You are so welcome! I do save all cereal boxes I come across and have recruited my daughters into saving theirs for me as well. LOL I immediately cut them down to my preferred size which is an 8.5 x 6 inch cover. I then store the unfolded covers in a desktop wire file holder/hanger. You've given me a good idea to show in my next shorts video exactly what that looks like. Your question is fantastic! Thank you and I hope this was helpful.

Rub your thumbs with castor oil and peppermint oil. They are natural pain killers. It takes several times to penetrate. It’s worth getting past the oiliness. I keep both thumbs working and my trigger finger didn’t trigger as long as I keep after it.
Be patient. It truly works.

What diameter circular punch is that? And what color distress ink is that?
Hello and good morning Laura, that orange circle punch is an oldie but goodie and it punches circles which are 1 1/16" it is a sliver larger than a 1" circle punch. Because the diameter is minimal in size a 1" will work just fine. The ink pad I use is Tim Holtz Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo. Thank you for watching!! :)
