This is why you'll always be my favorite pro disc golfer. Acknowledging your own humanity and respecting yourself enough to know that it was an emotional moment and having your first thought be about how it affects the others you're playing with is showing so much maturity that you don't see a lot these days. As a proud dad myself, I have to give your proud dad the highest of praise for raising such a respectful and honest man such as yourself.
Seriously Simon. Just can't believe you lost control like that. I had to go for a walk afterwards. Actually I called my mom too just to tell her I love her and that I didn't know if life was going to be the same after this. Also I have had larger outbursts on a Saturday morning 9 at my local ball or disc golf course. You're good my dude.
That shot was incredible friend. The stuff most of us only dream about, especially a 2nd berg ace. You’re using that disc in a crazy way and I love it.
Playing disc golf with my dad is something I never got to do, I’m glad you have these opportunities and I hope you take them to heart. You’re a great disc golfer and role model, my 7 year old son loves the videos and disc golf! Good luck this year!
Thank you, I spent 3 days making 3 discs for Simon two where twin Glitches one red facing right and the blue facing left, awesome compliment (thank you) and thanks Simon for the shout out…
Thank you Simon, this video cheers me and my wife up after bad rounds in disc golf. Also the first video from you that I showed my wife and it instantly made you our favorite disc golfer and encouraged us to practice and play with a positive mindset. If you come to Iceland I would love to meet you and give you a beer or two :)
OMG, I need that Vanellope Glitch. Wreck It Ralph is one of my favorite movies. We all have those moments on the course, thankfully most of ours arent on camera. Stay awesome and keep hitting those Simon Lines.
I dont mind you taking long breaks between videos. Makes the ones you release more important and enjoyable. True fans want you to spend time with your family and enjoy your life. Hope you are doing well.
I don’t know if Simon reads comments, but I just want to say that your positivity is the reason why you’re my favourite pro disc golfer. You are always so happy and kind and if you get a little bit angry in competitions (not that you would do it often), it doesn’t matter! We all get angry sometimes! I hope I will see you play at the European Open since I live in Finland. 😄
I didn’t see the coverage but if I watched this I would have just laughed. You seem such a nice heartwarming guy during your day to day, so when I see you get super frustrated during coverage and throw a disc down it just reminds me that you do take the game really seriously. I think your action of laying down would make a card mate laugh if anything, it’s better than just throwing a disc down and being angry in my opinion lol. Either way we love you dude!
Hey, I followed your card all weekend at OTB, I saw this happen, when you threw your disc down I just felt for you, it never crossed my mind that you over reacted or where out of line… I can’t imagine anyone did… that being said, thanks for the shout out on the Glitch, I was stoked to see you bag and throw it on hole 14 on Sat… I know you tried to tag me in your IG, my bad it’s fixed now!!! #ScrewyDyeJobs Don’t let the scuttle get in your head, I think you are one of, if not the most loved Pro DG’er and I feel you have a solid head on your shoulders and instinctively do the right thing!!! Sooo, keep being Simon Lizotte!!! We love you!!!
Such a wonderful day with your dad☀️ and I like that you speaking so openly about your struggles. That’s why I’m voting for you that you’re the number one in the game of discgolf
You were definitely caught a little behind taking pictures and signing discs when he aced the first one. After trying the hole 1 CTP I snagged a chance to get a picture and an autograph, just wanted to day thank you for all that you did that day, it was super wholesome and humble, and it's reasons like that no matter where you are on the leader boards or rankings, you'll be Number one for all of us, especially because you represent us New Englanders👌👌👌
You totally should have edited in a glitch in the video when you threw that glitch and the have the video glitch then make the disc go in the basket haha that would’ve been awesome!
That shot of the day was awesome! I backed up and rewatched it at least a dozen times. I may be biased though (just like your dad lol) because I love my Bergs.
1- Stay you, don't apologize. If you didn't have moments like this, it wouldn't make everything else laughable 2- Being genuine, it shows. Always a blast watching these and knowing you're the same way on and off camera
That’s not a tantrum dude. It’s actually nice to see you show some real emotion out there. Means you care. I know when you “laugh it off” you wanna break shit! That’s golf!
It’s great to hear from you again. Literally everyday I’m like… maybe he’ll have another video out… and finally👍🏼👍🏼 you’re good we all still love you, you had a reason to have a so called , tantrum fit. Amazing video as always, keep it up Simon!!! You’re the best🤝🏼🤝🏼
Nice to have a pleasant visit with family. I’m guessing you look like your mom. 😀 Sorry hear about your uncle. Was it Uncle Pete, the greatly treasured Canadian Disc Golf advocate?
I agree with Papa Lizotte. Not the most successful, but there aren't a lot of other players who can throw with your power and smoothness. And when you're really on, nobody can touch you.
Thanks for the video Simon, as always I rally enjoy watching these for your insights and fun banters on the course. I think many can agree you are an amazing ambassador of the sport.
A video for my birthday! Thanks! Ha! Aww, I love when your dad is on. His commentary is great. You need another video with your brothers in the future too. Good luck in Portland!
Screwey Dye Jobs- Dirk H out here in Livermore, CA. Big thumbs up to him! Very talented , very Chill dude! Congrats Dirk you deserve the exposure bud! Really cool man! 🥏⛓️🕳️🤙🏼 Simon really cool you got to go out with your dad that’s awesome. Looks like you guys had a blast! He is really proud of you! You can tell and rightfully so!! Your a great player with a great attitude. Everyone has those moments!!! Keep doing your thing bud!
Simon, it is great to see you and your dad play. May 22 was my 66th birthday, and I got to play with my son for his first round of disc golf. What better Birthday.
Letzte Woche habe ich noch mit Dave in Bremen gesprochen und jetzt sitzt er stolz neben seinem Sohn und zockt richtig geil. By the way… Simon ist auch für mich der beste Discgolfer der Welt. Danke für deine Inspiration 🥏👍🏻
Your dad is hilarious man. I lost it when you missed that long put and he's like "just throw your disc on the ground". LMAO talking trash to a world elite like only a father could 🤣
Your dad is a cool cat, but you know that already of course! He's a good man Simon, and apparently has done a few things right as a father for you to be the successful virtuous man that you are today. I wish you all the best and much success! Simon
Very cool, once I aced 2 back to back holes and I called them both before I threw , glad I had witnesses…lol You are due for a win Simon , you are for sure one of the best ❤
You all are amazing,!Simon ,DaDave, andwifee,at home wit da baby,,!!Embrace the time with your loved ones and friends! Priceless memories for you and me from small town Ohio Birdleg, rem STOP&THROW
Its like you said, that hasn't happened since 2015. Even with that mental laps, I would totally understand and continue playing. Your still the standard (in my eyes) for True sportsmanship in a player.
Nice to see you again Simon! I was gutted for you at Jonesboro. Don't worry about your reaction on the 17th - it's only natural to get frustrated from time to time, especially when things aren't going our way - many have reacted much worse. As players it's okay to show emotion when things go great, so why do we have to pretend we have no emotion when things don't go great?! It doesn't make sense! A little birdie tells me you may be coming to my home town of Christchurch, New Zealand next year for a tournament. When I heard that I was excited because I'd definitely come down to follow you and your card . . . but I'll be overseas at the time! Super gutted I'll miss you. But that's ages away, there's so much still to happen in 2023. You're a great ambassador for the game of disc golf and for MVP. See you in the next one!
haha that was the first tournament i'd ever been to. Followed you Eagle and Corey on Saturday and we could tell you were all just OVER IT lol. Hey it is what it is, it really enlightened me to how important and difficult the mental side of this game is. (and having 100 quiet people standing around watching seems sooooo weird, even as being one of *them* rather than the one being watched lol. It was hella somber feeling which surprised me. ) Thanks for the post, good luck next time out!
Simon's dad Dave is a #SAVAGE. His son is one of the top players in the world, signs a $10 million/10 contract BUT Dave doesn't care about that as he hits the basket cage on hole #1 on the DGC Simon designed!!!! #BALLER 🤣

Hearing how proud your dad is in his voice is so heartwarming
He’s probably paid
Lolol
Looking forward to Simon's signature axiom tantrum with the lay down stamp lol
Yes!
😂😂😂😂💀
Take my $$$
Hahahaha, I’m in for the pre-order
I think if someone was able to dye the sick glitch, some one could dye the caption of the tantrum :D
“I may be biased.” Most honest dad quote ever. ❤
This is why you'll always be my favorite pro disc golfer. This is way too wholesome. "People think I love Frozen. And I do." Never change Simon

Love it! So great to be shot of the day!! Got my first ace that day on catch cam too.
Forehand Berg Legend!
That shot was incredible friend. The stuff most of us only dream about, especially a 2nd berg ace. You’re using that disc in a crazy way and I love it.
Nice ace little man. 👍 Especially in front of Simon & you're 2nd ace on that day? Freaking amazing! The future of disc golf is bright. ☀️
Playing disc golf with my dad is something I never got to do, I’m glad you have these opportunities and I hope you take them to heart. You’re a great disc golfer and role model, my 7 year old son loves the videos and disc golf! Good luck this year!
Dude the Glitch holding the Glitch on the Glitch has to be the cutest disc ever (and also the most meta).
Thank you, I spent 3 days making 3 discs for Simon two where twin Glitches one red facing right and the blue facing left, awesome compliment (thank you) and thanks Simon for the shout out…
#ScrewyDyeJobs
Simon's dad telling him to throw his disc down when he missed the putt was perfect😂
"...Doing chores on an island" Truer words have never been spoken.
Came for the tantrum. Stayed for the pancakes.
Doesn't even compare to James Conrad.
@@elusivelectron the angry menace he is. hes a disgrace to the sportsmenship in this game 😆
OMG, I need that Vanellope Glitch. Wreck It Ralph is one of my favorite movies. We all have those moments on the course, thankfully most of ours arent on camera. Stay awesome and keep hitting those Simon Lines.

Well done Simon, well done Simon's dad, well done kid getting his second ace!!!! All around wonderful, thanks you for sharing Simon.
the funniest reaction you've had to a bad shot was when you got so frustrated you had to sit down in a spectators chair 😂
I think the funniest one is the "You SUCK!' putt 😅
I didn’t see the coverage but if I watched this I would have just laughed. You seem such a nice heartwarming guy during your day to day, so when I see you get super frustrated during coverage and throw a disc down it just reminds me that you do take the game really seriously.

The round with your dad warmed my heart! Enjoy it!
I play disc golf with my son about once a week and cherish every moment. Every now and then I win. Best of luck.
It's nice to see your dad, as always. I spent time with him in Quebec when he came to visit your late uncle. You have a great family, Simon.
Glitch on a Glitch Rocks!!! So cool!!!
Makes me miss my dad. Simon, I love your vlogs. Your kiddo is getting big fast and already dropping in those putts.
#ScrewyDyeJobs

Sooo, keep being Simon Lizotte!!! We love you!!!
Out of all of your videos, the ones with your family are the best. Need more family vlogs. Thanks again.
So cool man watching wreck it Ralph with the kids at the same time as seeing this 💪🏼

Simon. You’re the absolute best. Don’t ever forget it.
Dave was hitting some sick lines out there
Your dad is amazing. He is your biggest supporter and fan playing disc golf. It is beautiful to see.
1- Stay you, don't apologize. If you didn't have moments like this, it wouldn't make everything else laughable
2- Being genuine, it shows.
Always a blast watching these and knowing you're the same way on and off camera
Your vlogs with your dad might be my favorite ones.
Shoutout to your dad Simon, I might be biased. Loved it. Whenever he appears it's so obvious where you got your great attitude from man.
Just always fun to watch and appreciate your comments!
That’s not a tantrum dude. It’s actually nice to see you show some real emotion out there. Means you care. I know when you “laugh it off” you wanna break shit! That’s golf!
Playing disc golf with your kid. Way to go Dave! It's always a fun time!

Beautiful dyed discs!!! Hope your home life is awesome, so you can have a clear mind on the course! Always need a strong mental game! Good luck!
Simon, Best of luck this weekend! You Got This!
One of the best parts of the video is your dad putting with the electron atom.🧡🧡🧡
That forehand Berg toss was so clean. Kids got a great throw.
Enjoy every video You do and keep up the good work. Play your game and enjoy every minute of it you will have more big wins in the season
Nice to have a pleasant visit with family.
I’m guessing you look like your mom. 😀
Sorry hear about your uncle. Was it Uncle Pete, the greatly treasured Canadian Disc Golf advocate?
I had a great time watching this video! Very good, honest and heartwarming content!
I agree with Papa Lizotte. Not the most successful, but there aren't a lot of other players who can throw with your power and smoothness. And when you're really on, nobody can touch you.
This is what us dads do! Great times. Great kids.
Been missing the vlog! Glad to have ya back!
Thanks for the video Simon, as always I rally enjoy watching these for your insights and fun banters on the course. I think many can agree you are an amazing ambassador of the sport.
So many great things to like about this video. Thank you Simon and best of luck in Portland.
Shot of the day! Simon...... "who is this kid?" Lolol! It's the next Simon Lizotte. Cheers to the future of disc golf. 🍻
Such a humble dude, nice to see your family is doing stuff together. Goodluck bro 🖖
A video for my birthday! Thanks! Ha! Aww, I love when your dad is on. His commentary is great. You need another video with your brothers in the future too. Good luck in Portland!
Grandpa Lizotte is awesome! Great commentator as well :)
Might be my favorite vlog. Good luck in Portland!
The walking away with dad struggling with the branch in the background got me lol
"This branch could kill someone." -Dad
"Oh yeah, a fallen branch" -Simon
4:00 typical Dad Moment..

That glitch is amazing, just bought one last weekend and omg it’s the most fun I’ve had throwing a disc in awhile.
Not much makes me happier than a simon upload, you are the best!
I was actually in that video for the shot of the day and I said another one? That was crazy! Nice job! Great video Simon!
Love the family time !!!
Very cool, once I aced 2 back to back holes and I called them both before I threw , glad I had witnesses…lol You are due for a win Simon , you are for sure one of the best ❤

Lovely relaxed round and your dad seems awesome.
It's all right man. We all have bad days. Nothing but love for you 💞
Simon, isn't being the most loved male disc golfer ever better than just the best disc golfer? That you have been for years.
Simon's dad Dave is a #SAVAGE. His son is one of the top players in the world, signs a $10 million/10 contract BUT Dave doesn't care about that as he hits the basket cage on hole #1 on the DGC Simon designed!!!! #BALLER 🤣
love how to addressed your tantrum with your dad.shot of the day was awesome.
So glad you're back! I've been waiting! Enjoy you Simon!
In some sports its the goal to get your opponent to break composure and make a mistake. Martial Arts is a great example. Keep up the great work Champ
You put on an amazing performance. The standard you hold yourself to is incredible. Keep it up!

Go Will!!
I can honestly say you are my favorite player Simon! Keep doing great buddy and I hope to meet you some day!
A perfect storm comes along, a perfect storm blows away. Next!
Wholesome video, I wish I had a dad!
I, too, think Simon is the most talented thrower of the disc in the world, Dave.
I love it.
You are the man. Respect.
Man that was cool seeing you play with your dad I’m 50 years old and I struggle to play with my 23 year old son and his friends but I have only been playing a couple of months
Simon's dad Dave/David is probably top 5 on league nights. Got some smoothies in that arm.
Actually from my perspective as a wheelchair discgolfer myself all but the one hole where the basket is on the slope looked playable for me. When your in Germany again you should come to the Berlin area and play a round together so you can see some wheelchair discgolf ;)
