God bless each ever one of you that has had a hand in bringing this podcast to light. Thank you, Savannah. 🙏🙏

This was an awesome episode! It’s very clear that God met Doug where he was at and Doug was motivated to follow, persevere and go the extra mile whether he knew God was divinely intervening or not. But, he continued on the right path and know is a man of God and he is paying it forward as his former cell mate said. Now, he is in a place where he is truly blessed to be a blessing! Great story, very inspiring and your interview was definitely top notch! 🙏❤️

What a great interview! Savannah keep doing what you're doing, keep fighting for your family, along with others who are lost in a system that's so corrupt and sadly continues to do more harm than good in so many cases. I am praying for the BEST case scenario with your parents case and their appeal to the appellate court in April. I truly hope your parents will be released and if the charges aren't dropped fully then they can come to a solution without anymore jail time. Let's be honest, they didn't kill someone, they banks didn't even go after your parents, yet some dumbass who had a stick up his butt and disliked your parents wanted to throw the book at them and put them away forever, for such a ridiculous and BS case that was also a nonviolent crime. Let me say that again, A NONVIOLENT CRIME.
Doug, keep up the great yet hard work! Proud of you and your sobriety, it's a lifelong struggle but if someone wants it bad enough, they'll keep fighting to succeed. Many think if someone relapses then they've failed, many addicts by that standard will fail a hundred times more often than not. I'm a firm believer if one relapses it's God's way of seeing how you'll handle this situation, and if you're strong enough to come overcome that obstacle again. Some people are lucky and never relapse, however many in the world aren't so lucky and relapse multiple times throughout their recovery process. I don't believe it means anyone has failed in their recovery, I believe it's how you overcome that hurdle and come back from it, that makes the difference. Nowadays though, drugs aren't like they used to be, more often than not, everything is laced with even worse things than the initial person's drug of choice. That's why so many pass from overdose. I also believe the government could get a better hold on the epidemic if they really wanted to, but they don't. In it's own way it's a population control situation, to them, it seems like. Which is horrible to think about. But I do believe that's how they look at people who are addicts to drugs, alcohol, etc. It's crazy. But nonetheless, keep fighting the good fight, be proud of yourself! You got this! 🙌

I agree 💯 on giving everyone a second chance, BUT everyone is not rehabable. (I know it's probably spelled wrong) It's not like you can paint everyone with the same paint brush. Some people take advantage of the leniency.

Unless you believe yourself to have never messed up or done anything wrong or bad, you have no right to lay a guilt trip on parents. Even if you've had bad ones. They are no different than you. They've made bad choices and caused bad circumstances for their kids. You have made bad choices as well and it has caused consequences. So when you drop to your knees, know your position. Know where you sit from our Savior's perspective. Let it go. Any hostility or expectation of anything from parents, is usually a waste of time. Put it away, in the past and don't expect anything different. People are flawed just like you were flawed. You job now is to become a new person who does not make bad choices. There's no one who must have acknowledgement or apologies from parents in order to heal and move on. And the good news is as an adult, you get to choose who is in your life and who isn't.
This guy has good advice for the Chrisleys. No one put them in the position they are in but themselves. Own it. Repent of it.

Obviously, you do not know what happened to them! Previously Todd exposed major corruption in the GA government and I would have to say the corrupt totally went after them! You need to listen to what their new lawyer has explained in interviews with Savannah. He lays the details out for everyone to understand.

I disagree with one thing the weed being a gateway drug. I only say this because I have smoked weed for at least 15 years and never wanted to try another drug. that said I think its more of a person to person thing. I grew up in a rough household and childhood was definitely rough for me.. however I now have 4 children 24,20 and twins that are 8 and I still manage to do all of the things I am responsible for daily and still do not want to use any other drugs. I love your family! actually have looked up to y'all as a way to make change in the way I was raised to the way I was raised. I am still praying for Justice for your parents just wanted to make known not all people find weed to be a gateway drug.. stay blessed I will be watching y'all greatness and praying for your parents release

I’m not saying this to down anyone. But it has to be said.
    Some people are so hypocritical.
They can say Jesus this and Jesus that but don’t live like Jesus wants them to.
You can’t go around one minute loving Jesus , quoting the Bible but sleeping with your boyfriend/girlfriend.
    Shacking up with them.
Now I know savannah is supposed to have a pastor grandfather.
And in one episode even has a church.
Now only Gods knows the chrisleys hearts.
You gotta love Jesus In good times and bad times.
And realize that Jesus wants your attention all the time. Not just when your heart is broke.
Don’t make true Christian’s look bad.
    I’m just saying.

Also remember Matthew 7 judge not that ye be judged how can you pull the mote from your brothers eyes when you have a beam in your own. If you feel someone is not living by God's word pray for them. We all have things in our life's that needs to be worked on with you and God. This is such a problem today, no one wants to look at themselves easier to look at others. We all need to do what Jesus told us to do. Pray one for another

I disagree weed is not ALWAYS a gateway drug. It depends on the person!! I smoked weed for YEARS and it never led me to desire for anything else. I didn't even drink EVER. But I gave my life to the Lord and now I'm drug free by His Grace

I have buried 8 of my friends from Gen X! The X'ed out Generation...Because the Doctors that were their dealers then with one scoop of the pen..The clients were the bad ones and not the Doctors for pushing these pills on them for decades!! & No one has ever smoked pot and said," Let's go buy some crack!" but drink & that's their first thought...Then 9/10 times that's what a druggie will do!!! So to me Alcohol is worse than Marijuana..So don't get fooled on which substance is more evil of the two..! Alcohol is the biggest gateway drug of them all...!!! Because you are likely to do something when drunk that you wouldn't do if sober!! It changes who you are not like Pot. Which doesn't make you a different person...

Stop being like these celebrities. Come home to Jesus. Humble yourself. Such a good person. For example I'm a door dasher, everyday I deliver for them. Christians stick together. Celebrities mean nothing. Thou shalt not have any God's before me. Your a wonderful person. Stay with God. Wardrobes mean nothing. Makeup means nothing. God means everything.
