Chita Rivera in The Dancer's Life: Bye Bye Birdie

For one week of the show's broadway run, Dick Van Dyke joined Chita onstage in The Dancer's Life to perform "Put on a Happy Face" and "Rosie" from Bye Bye Birdie.
Trivia: Dick was understudied in Birdie by Charles Nelson Reilly, and years later Chita starred in an ill-fated and short-lived musical sequel, "Bring Back Birdie"

Dick Van Dyke is still the essence of warm, off-center charm. It's something that cannot be taught. Goofiness combined with sex appeal (he's STILL gorgeous!). Both of them are unforgettable.

Dick Van Dyke is 88 now and Chita Rivera is 80.This show was six years ago and they were amazing and agile.I loved them.Dick was my favourite comedian in my youth and I still admire him very much.
