I’m thinking of bringing back Lightsworn in some way. Likely with Tears. I wish that Lightsworn support was coming to MD, that that is light years away.
I'm trying Mannadium Trisukta and Visas Amritara in my Tear deck, basically by adding cards that can summon a level 2 tuner like Ready fusion and emergency teleport (thinking of adding meek as well), still not sure of everything but is interesting how Visas Amritara becomes Visas Starfrost in the field so all the Tearlaments backrow are on if he is in the field, and can also search any piece you are missing on summon.
Tearlaments is one of the most fun decks if not the most fun. hopefully merrlli gets unbanned with the new secret pack coming and funny I went on a win streak on a session today also. Home improvement Tim Allen that brings back memories 😂. I cut the shufflers mines similar but every time I bricked the shufflers were involved so I've cut them
Thrust feels incredibly good in this deck tbh. The lack of extenders available going first means that interruptions can really hurt, but getting your reino/kit ashed and thrusting for metanoise is deceptively strong. Going second, you can grab the field spell with FBG, grief/foolish for extension, rota for Visas, or just the classic thrust for talents play. Synchro 7s are also really good, since destrudo can make them easily but you can also use cross sheep to bring back an ash to pair with a 4. Shooting Riser guarantees you Snow the next turn, or Dawn Dragster can protect you from boardbreakers in cryme-free setups
Tearlaments has never been truly dead, i've had fun with punk tear (before chaos ruler ban) and shaddoll tear, but my favorite rn is bystial tear synchro, which has unfortunately been hit by the saronir limit so i'm adjusting the list a little

i have been playing tear lunalight and its pretty good

tear was always good, but on a dlink/branded meta who run full bystials it wasn't as strong.
