I listened to this song a week ago in a happy relationship. Catchy tune but didnt think much of the lyrics. He broke up with me yesterday, suddenly and out of the blue and listening to this again hit so differently. I hope my heart can heal soon.

This track was made when Two Door Cinema Club, left Kitsuné Récords for start working with Parlophone Records, and the guy when he says, "Considering?..." What he means is that he's actually insulting the band saying that they haven't done anything important on the industry and saying that they just worth nothing. That's what press mediums, said when two door left Kitsuné for Parlophone, meaning that they don't worth to work there. Am I explained right?

There’s this girl I used to date, she broke my heart, I managed to move on and yet she couldn’t. I tried to stay friends with her because I still care about her and want the best for her, but our friendship couldn’t work since she still likes me and I kinda have a gf. It hurts so much cause I know she doesn’t have many others to turn to, I’m always the only person who can help her out in life. It would’ve all worked if she was just happy to be friends. When we were saying goodbye, she told me to listen to this song, the lyrics that hit me the most are “when you said you won’t forget me, I can tell you that’s untrue” cause we literally had that conversation. Even though I moved on and don’t love her in that way anymore, she was still my first gf, my first heartbreak and she was my good friend for the past year. I know I won’t forget her cause of how important she was to me during this past stage in my life but she just doesn’t believe me. I wish I could just somehow assure her that even though I’m not speaking to her anymore, she was still so important to me and I’m always gonna care about her, and I’ll never forget her.
