I myself am vegetarian and usually when I tell people that, they start getting defensive and tell me they would never become a vegetarian. I just wanted to say that being a vegetarian doesn’t mean I try to convince others to become a vegetarian as well, I’m being a vegetarian for myself, because it makes me feel better and happier :)

I can certainly understand not having time for a commitment to a girlfriend right now because his is so focused on his passion and what he feels is his purpose. I wonder, because I’d heard him mention before that he admired Steve Irwin so much, if one day, he might meet someone who shares his same passion. Going vegan is great, and you are right it does do a lot of good for the environment ant for certain animals, but that does not mean that people who choose to eat meat are evil, and does not care about animals and so on, which it seems like a lot of people tend to think. Going vegan is easier for some people than it is for others, but we all try do to as much as we can, and for people who are used to eat meat daily, it can be hard to go from that to eating no meat at all, so the fact that Dean is going from eating meat twice a day to only 2-3 times a week, is a great first step. And I don't necessarily think that a vegan does more for animals than Dean does, because what he does doesn't only affect his animals, it affects millions of animals around the world, because he enlightens the biggest threat to these animals - humans. Everyday he enlightens millions of humans about all these different types of animals, showing how loving and affectionate they can be, showing how awesome they are which makes us fall in love with them, and this might inspire a lot of us to perhaps go vegan, or to help protect them and so on. But that is just my opinion.

Somebody please try and prove me wrong but while this guy does a lot for a few amount of animals in one place in Africa, one single vegan contributes more to the safety and welfare of a greater amount of animals, less water usage and pollution contribution than anyone would ever do by helping lions and monkeys. If you are wondering why that's relevant... Isn't that this guy's whole message? Think about that.

Going vegan is great, and you are right it does do a lot of good for the environment ant for certain animals, but that does not mean that people who choose to eat meat are evil, and does not care about animals and so on, which it seems like a lot of people tend to think. Going vegan is easier for some people than it is for others, but we all try do to as much as we can, and for people who are used to eat meat daily, it can be hard to go from that to eating no meat at all, so the fact that Dean is going from eating meat twice a day to only 2-3 times a week, is a great first step. And I don't necessarily think that a vegan does more for animals than Dean does, because what he does doesn't only affect his animals, it affects millions of animals around the world, because he enlightens the biggest threat to these animals - humans. Everyday he enlightens millions of humans about all these different types of animals, showing how loving and affectionate they can be, showing how awesome they are which makes us fall in love with them, and this might inspire a lot of us to perhaps go vegan, or to help protect them and so on. But that is just my opinion.
