2022 update: Catherine O'Hara is still married to Bo, and they have two sons, Matthew (born 1994) and Luke (born 1997). Both sons followed in Bo's footsteps and work in television/movie production on set.
Man , David Sanborn is terrific. His tasteful playing , use of dynamics is wonderful to listen to. That song was so uplifting and Paul's band is great. Catherine O'Hara was a hoot.
RE: Ben Vereen. He had a pretty horrible day around this time according to Wikipedia: “In 1992, Vereen suffered three accidents in one day: His car hit a tree, causing him to hit his head on the roof of the car; he then suffered a stroke while he was walking on a Malibu highway, apparently veering into the road; and finally, as a result of that, he was struck by a car driven by record producer David Foster. His critical injuries, including a broken leg, required him to undergo arduous physical rehabilitation in the ensuing months.”
Deborah Pozek went on to win the James Beard award again 1994 and 2007. She was briefly married to Bobby Flay, but remarried and has 3 kids with her current husband.
Makes sense, he had been Chief of Staff under Ford, in Congress for 10 years and Secretary of Defense under Bush. But dumping Quayle could've been perceived as a sign of weakness. He was definitely a great pick to balance out the younger, less experienced G.W. Bush in 2000.
Dave was hilarious in that cooking segment! I had some deja vu during Catherine O'Hara's segment and even more during that one. This feels like an episode I saw back in the original run.
Dave's so loyal to NBC & later CBS because they helped him become mega rich & famous but FOX kinda took off & is doing pretty damn good these days dave..
I remember these days when Dave really seemed to enjoy doing the show. Then when he went to cbs it was like he had the life sucked out of him. Then by the 2000s the show was pretty much unwatchable. Pretty sad that I never saw the last Late Show with David Letterman, and I don't even remember any news about it when it happened. When Johnny Carson retired it was like a national holiday.
Catherine O'Hara is always so entertaining! She tells the wildest stories. Such a brilliant comedic actress.
entertaining...but then just weird.
Was he really shaming NBC while broadcasting from their studios?
This was nothing compared to what he did other nights.

Too bad they hadn't continued having kids so we could've gotten Mark and John as well.
Think about how technologically sophisticated this intro was in 1992. Impressive!
I thought it was lame
@@Yobbie72 I like the other guy's opinion better than yours.
@@FUCKINGENIOUS and that's your choice!

Catherine is the best! I miss you Moira!
Letterman with some foresight there... Cheney would become Vice President with a Bush, but it'd be Bush, Jr.
July 22nd, 1992 The Date that indicated the Selena Gomez was born.

I used to dress like letterman for work, when I was in my twenties. Was a huge fan of this show. Just me?
What was your job?

I never knew there was a push for Dick Cheney to be Vice President in 1992

These episodes take me back to a better time.

If Fox can't program at 10PM, they can't afford Dave.

OK sure pal. It was weeks of national news when Letterman retired. The hoopla was almost as big as Johnny’s.
O Hara is boring. Just telling how great her life is.
Jealous lol
Jeez! Let Catherine talk. Lord!
!!!!!!!!
