When the WPL D12 came out I wasn't sure if there was anything I could do with it.
I don't have many places to drift around by me.
Then a few 4x4 versions started to be created. That seemed more my style.
The D12 was purchased directly from WPL, very fast service. So quick this project got started quicker than anticiptaed.

Lots of 3D printed parts to make this truck fit together as listed in the video. The roof rack design is from Thingiverse by Edward RC. I hope a fitting gesture.
The wheel design is from Thingiverse by The DIY Guy.
I now have a D12 chassis to convert to something else........
車身跟羅胎差距太高黑不真實 如果再降一點就比較真實
enak buat di lumpur 4wd
Brother that's such a cool truck 😎🤘😄👊🙏
Thank you Lou. I just had some fun making this one up. 👍😁
On the 2nd gear it can dance pretty
Good job!
Thank you very much. Glad you like it.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure 👍
Awesome build! Have you by chance posted the mounts anywhere or do you still have the files? I've been wanting to do this to my d12 but haven't been able to come up with a way to get the chassis to work. Those mounts look perfect 👌
Awesome job! Looks great! Lots of torque.
Big LIKE👍🏻
Thank you, yes plenty of power!
Nice build 👍🏻and good information 😁
thank you for watching & commenting. 👍😁
what type of chassis mount do you have because i know what type of chassis it is but I just can not mount in to the same rc truck as you have done.
*2 WORDS*
BAD & ASS
Couldn't have said it better myself..thank you. 😁
Sasis apa itu om mantap buat offroad
brother ur car is super cool but it is kinda unstable cause of unwide wheel base and high body placement otherwise it is too good
Love it maybe some 3d printed wheel spacers help for stability she looks a little top heavy. But she's awesome 👍
Thanks for the comment. Yes wider would be better. I had thought about 3D printed adaptor to 12mm hex. Then i could use some wider wheels. just haven't seen the right wheels yet.
Very nice👌
Thanks a lot..! 👍
Is there a 1/5 scale body for this truck available?
Hello, I haven't seen a 1/5 version of this truck anywhere myself.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure Thx for your reply. Yea I have the actual truck and It would be cool to get a body for the 1/5 scale truck to match....
More than just an modification, thats another level! Awesome job!! 👍
Thank you, much appreciated..! 😀
try crawling it! (atleast try making a portal axle on the thing?)
Please 3d print roll cage free ??
Very nice video, Excellent RC 👍#19 🎄🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS🎄🎄
Thankyou, glad you liked it.
Nice!!
Thank you, glad you like it!
Awesome build? May I know the actual model/details of the 2 speed gearbox that's fit for D12? Been searching to no avail. Thanks!
Hello, thank you for your comment. This build uses a WPL C24 chassis, (the Toyota Hilux model). So it uses the standard WPL 2-speed gearbox www.wpl-rc.com/products/dual-speed-gearbox. It probably isn't a direct fit for the WPL D12 model. I'm sure it could be made to fit though.
Nice vehicle, nice video
Awesome
Let's get along with friends with the same hobbies..
잘 지내봐요..
😀😀😀😀😀
Thankyou for your comments, look like we have the same hobbies!
Cool
Thank you Paul, glad you like it.
How is the c.o.g on this model? It seems kinda top heavy.
It's got a pretty high COG. Check the D12 snow run video for bloopers. But it's no too bad to drive, just for fun. Will do some better crawling video soon.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure yeah was afraid of that. It's a pretty cool model. Almost a bit hilarious if you think about it. Real kei trucks wouldn't even be able to do real rockcrawling. That's what makes it such a fun thing to see. Think I'll pass this myself for now.
Your video comes in recommending .
Your channel is going to grow bro ..
Sorry for my English 😁❤️
Thank you for your comment. Your English is fine. 😀
Hello, first of all congratulations for the work ... Beautiful !!! ... I wanted to ask you for information if it is possible: Which chassis of the WPL did you use to do the conversion?
Thanks
Hello Elio, thankyou. Glad you like this project. I used the WPL C24 plastic kit for the chassis. Also a WPL two speed gearbox. Thanks.
hello, i would like to ask which 4WD gearbox system do u use?
Nice upgrade! friend!
Thankyou for your comment. Much appreciated.
Wow! Well done - what a clever combination of WPL and 3D printed parts!
You did a very neat job of this; I can´t wait to see how it gets on out in the world.
Loving your kitchen cabinets, by the way - is that Light Oak?
ps I don´t mean to nag, but have you got round to putting away your patio heater for winter yet?
Thanks Del. It was a fun project. just some loose ends to finish. I think it will be a bit top heavy on a trail run. Reach Rc's truck is also very wobbly up top. I could stiffen the springs, but I think it adds to the comedy factor! I think the cabinets are some sort've oak finish. But I doubt they are of a very high quality wood. More very-neared. P.s., do you see my patio heater in the photo? No because I edited it out...😃
👈wow bravo👍👍👍
Thank you for your comment, much appreciated.
Really good work and great looking D12, excellent test !!
@sator rotas, thankyou. partly inspired by your build.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure Thanks 😉👍
when its turn to gear 2 its act too cute 😆
It's good fun in 2nd gear, see the 'rock crawling' video for quick blast outdoors!
too high
All the printed parts are available or you custom made them??
Was it easy to mount on the c24 chassis?
Great video man
All printed parts are custom, designed by myself. Link to the roll bar in the description. It was straight forward to mount as they have similar wheelbase.
@@RC3DPrintAdventure would you please share them ? Would be awesome to do the same with my d12 :)
Please link 3d print mounting rear & middle body bro
Is the c24 full metal chassis?
No, just the plastic chassis.
Wow that’s awesome this looks so good how much money did you spend on this truck I subbed and would appreciate one back 👍👍🔥🔥
Glad you like it Calum. Hard to judge exactly how much it cost. It was the body shell from the WPL D12 & the chassis from a C24 kit. I would say about £50-60 pounds all in. What's left over can go to making other projects. Thanks for the subscribe. I have subbed to yours. Good video content. I like the ATV's as well as the RC's.
That thing looks mint! 👍
Thank you very much. It is fun to drive. 🤓
How cool is that man.....awesome
Thank you, glad you like it. I have a couple more videos on this truck.
🤩🤩👍
Thankyou, glad you liked it. 😁
4x4 high tested on kitchen floor. OMG :/
👍🙂
