Everything he said is true. In 2019 I was tired of being in and out of relationships. I tried to make things work but somehow, things always scattered at the point when decisions are to be made.
I don't know who told me this,but I started praying in tongues using Sunday Theophilus songs everyday for one hour.I didn't ask for anything in prayer ,just praying in tongues. A few months later I started having prophetic dreams of things that were to come, even the lady I married was revealed to me in the dream. A few years down the line,I told myself that if I had made that decision based on my own wisdom alone,I would have made a great mistake,because she is everything I needed in a woman.
I remember praying in tongues one day,and the holy spirit asked me to pray that my boss should change the negative impressions she has about me. Before then I never knew that she had something in mind against me.
Another time I was praying in tongues,and God reminded me of some bad things I did in the past that I have never asked God for forgiveness. These are things I never knew where that bad until the Spirit told me.
Please make praying in the Spirit a part of your life and you will never regret it.

7 benefits of praying in the spirit
1st Corinthians 14:4
Edify-recharge
Speaking in an unknown tongue recharges your battery.
The theme of this convention is also let the rivers flow.
The rivers here is the Holy Ghost.
Praising in the spirit is one spiritual gift that is devotional in nature and not for public ministry.
The real emphasis of tongues is a devotional gift.
1st Corinthians 14:18-19
The rest of the gifts were in operational in prophetic ministries in the old testament, the exclusive one in the new testament is the tongues.

There is a difference between evil and temptation, temptation is self induced, you were enticed. Evil is like armed robbers attacking you.
3. When you pray in the spirit you allow the Holy Spirit to inspire you to pray about things that you are not aware of, you don’t even know that those needs exists. Example, when God sees something that wants to happen to maybe someone connected to you and He places a burden in your heart to pray, there is a heaviness in your heart to pray, this kind of heaviness are only seen by people who spends time in the Spirit.

5. Praying in the spirit helps you to enter into rest concerning things.
Example when you pray for someone that has an ailment which he may die from, you pray and pray but your mind is still disturbed, but when you pray in the spirit there is a rest you get to, there is a certainty that this matter is done, it is only praying in the spirit that can get you to this rest from God.
Rest is that peace of God that passes all understanding, you don’t get it yet but I know with all certainty it’s a fine deal.

Paul speak in tongues and labors more than yee all. When you speak in tongues the Holy Spirit energizes your mortal bodies.

You perceive in the spirit.
It is through physical exercise that your physical body becomes strong strong, alert and is awaken. It is also through spiritual exercise that your spirit awakes and alert.
How did Paul knew that the weather is not good for them to sail? He perceived.
Nothing should take you unawares.
Extended time of praying in tongues can get you to perceive in the spirit.
