Thanks for the letting us know about the quorn pieces and mince at half price in Iceland , went in today and the offer is still on. You've got to make savings where you can. can't believe how much extra virgin olive oil has gone up nearly £6 in Aldi but it is like that everywhere now, great content as usual.
Nice vid Victoria, there’s many many reasons for the price increases, however, the latest reason will probably be due to the current issues going on in the Red Sea. (Ships being diverted from travelling through the Suez Canal, and now they have to go the long way round- cape of good hope). Enjoy 👍👍👍
Great shopping haul victoria tell the boys if they dont like that sure deo to go and buy their own i always buy my tolietries from home bargain the price of somethings are stupid .lovely meal ideas ive not had toad in the hole for ages love fran xxx
I had a chuckle when I saw your recipe for the quiche. I used to live in the UK in 2002 and a BBC Good Food subscriber and I recognize the recipe for the quiche. I moved to the US in 2004. I actually brought over a few GF magazines from 1996 to 2004 from the UK. They’ve actually made it overseas and through five house moves. Before it became possible to get overseas subscriptions, my MIL used to send them to be monthly. I still have a full set 2004-2014. I still take them out and make recipes from them.
That’s crazy isn’t it! These days we literally just Google everything and there it is. One of my favourite things to do is sit and read recipe books though, I know it’s odd but I just love an actual paper copy 😂
Awesome Sainsbury’s Grocery Shop ☺️👌👍🙌 I have had the Brie and cranberry tarts- personally, keep it simple ,treat it as a starter, nice rocket and a sweet glaze dressing. I bought that sourdough Friday- certainly the softest I have found to date but am on a quest to convert to sourdough and this has been my personal best so far. The potatoes are good to cook with.if your after small ones for a change, the anya variety are really nice too. Shepherds pie I think we understand you, most of us. Xxx
@victoria foulger don't use the malt vinegar for cleaning your floors! Its not the same thing as white vinegar. I made the same mistake once and my whole kitchen smelt of vinegar for long time afterwards!
Good food shop. I also love quiche, I hadn't made 1 in a while ( husband not that keen on them) but have made 2 I'm the last few weeks, now he's a fan!! They easy to make, cheap & good for using things up. Will buy 1 if I really can't be bothered to make one, but shop bought ones I just think are a bit tasteless & I've tried a lot of different ones! Your meal plan sounds good. Those brie & cranberry tarts I woukd have thise with maybe some nice seasoned roast potatoes & veg, or jacket potato & salad ( I might have a pot of gravy on the side, I just love gravy ). No I woukdbt pay £5 for a can of deodarant either, that's scandalous. Enjoyed this video Vicki
Hi Vicki, another good chatty video. Yes I’ve noticed that everything has gone up so much, I don’t particularly find Sainsburys cheap though. Yes you’ve got the right vinegar. I use it in my washing machine instead of fabric softener, the washing doesn’t smell of vinegar, just smells of your detergent. See you in your next video.xxxx
I too have been making Quiche the same way since my kids were born in the 80's. I also make the same chilli recipe that I first made in 1977 lol. White vinegar just says distilled white vinegar, I'm sure it would work just as well, it is vinegar after all but it'll smell different.I find Sainsburys has the best buy in distilled white vinegar. Great haul Vicki, thank you for sharing xxx
Great haul Victoria, love that u use ur old recipe❤ I still use the recipe for quiche Lorraine that I cooked at school😅 I'm now 53 and still wouldn't use any other recipexx
Just a little tip for the deodorants, if you have the Superdrug beauty card you can get them on a special deal. I think it's 2 cans for £5! I get my partner them sometimes when I'm in there and it works out at £2.50 a can and you get two 😄
You could call it a mince pie, there was one on the hospital menu that was the same as shepard or cottage pie, but called mince pie because didnt state the type of meat
Hi Victoria, I have had those cranberry and Brie tarts, they are very tasty. Salad would be ideal with them as they are more filling than you think you could have a potato salad with them as well. Enjoy
Fresh tomatoes in fryingpan dry roast it tiny bit of oil then dry it until sticky add a teaspoon of brown sugar it will melt dry out slow heat .can be used in same recipe .
Yeah Victoria all price lock means is buy me now because after this sale period this item is going up even more. Same scam is going on in USA grocery video's I watch too. It is crazy. Also the clear vinegar I buy every week from Sainsbuys and use it in my washing machine and also add it to a glass jar full of orange peels to make the smell nicer. Cleans everything. Great haul 😁
I would do a baked camambert, olives and charcuterie with the tarts yum yum. I have watched your videos for years now and never comment but just wanted to say thanks. Iv done an Iceland order this week couldn’t miss the 10 for £10 offer bargain and lunch box deals ready for next week and I never shop at Iceland. Sainsbury’s is coming too but I have saved around £50 this week by splitting the food shop 😄
In the US white vinagar means it’s not ‘flavored’. Like apple cider, rice, balsamic etc. Not sure about the malt part but as long as it’s mostly just plain it should be good to go.
I’m also the stupid person because I have never noticed that on the chocolate 😂 the L’Oréal men’s spray has gone up ridiculously in supermarket that’s the one my husband and sons use I get it from home bargains it’s half the price, great haul have a lovely Sunday x
Honestly can’t believe the price increase of that deodorant…. That’s insane. I use white vinegar…. I buy it from HB or B&M usually in a spray bottle for cleaning and it’s fantastic.
After a great debate over tea tonight we think your pie should be called 'Trotters Pie' We have just had cottage pie made with Turkey mince so we're calling ours 'Goblers Pie' 🤣😁👍🏻
Hi Victoria I am from Canada..my husband is from Sussex England...I know white vinegar is used for cleaning and laundry which seems to be popular in the United states...here we consume it, use for many many food recipes and some use for cleaning purposes..I thought malt vinegar was different..maybe white malt vinegar is considered like white distilled vinegar, not sure...

The quiche idea is so lovely ❤

Ok thanks! Trust me to get the wrong one!!

Some great ideas there, can’t go wrong with a jug of gravy 😋
Hi Victoria Great haul. I got the Racer ones from Aldi this week (chocolate bars with nuts -Snickers) you get 6 bars for £1.09.
Love that you still have a recipe, my dad still follows a recipe I had from school days for cottage pie it’s 35yrs old😁
That’s so sweet 🥹

The tarts maybe you could serve with homeade wedges and salad ❤❤
Sounds great 😊
If the white vinegar for cleaning you need to go to cleaning aisle for white vinegar
You could call it a mince pie, there was one on the hospital menu that was the same as shepard or cottage pie, but called mince pie because didnt state the type of meat
Hi when I made this for my family they called it Sty Pie and my son couldn't get enough. Love all your videos thanks for the ideas.😊
You are so welcome!
Hi Victoria, I have had those cranberry and Brie tarts, they are very tasty. Salad would be ideal with them as they are more filling than you think you could have a potato salad with them as well. Enjoy
Sounds great!
Fresh tomatoes in fryingpan dry roast it tiny bit of oil then dry it until sticky add a teaspoon of brown sugar it will melt dry out slow heat .can be used in same recipe .
Thank you! That’s perfect 🤩
Really enjoyed the haul. 😂😂 I also thought that’s what it said on Tony’s chocolate!!! So funny!!! & the deodorant!!!! £5!!! Crazy!!!
Right!!
With the Brie tarts you could do some new potatoes & salad. ❤️🇬🇧
Oh yes!

I love wild, husband still prefers aerosol though 😬
@@Victoria_Foulger ahh I see! I've converted my hubby 😄 🤣 xx

I’m so glad to hear that! It’s a really good offer especially if you do as you did and split your shopping between places 🥰
Great haul Victoria xxxxxx
Thank you 😊
Hold.on to the original print of the quiche recipe for sentimental reasons, great haul 😊
Yes! Thank you!
Hello, here in OZ the cleaning white Vinegar is called Cleaning Vinegar lol... great haul.. xx
Don't think it called that in the UK. We don't do things as straightforward as that.
Definitely not that straightforward here 😂 trust us to complicate things 😬
Was going to say that also, in NZ its cleaning vinegar and in the cleaning aisle and some bottles have the spray top
In the US white vinagar means it’s not ‘flavored’. Like apple cider, rice, balsamic etc. Not sure about the malt part but as long as it’s mostly just plain it should be good to go.
Great thanks 🙏
❤Nice haul!!!❤🌻😘
Thank you! 🤗
I’m also the stupid person because I have never noticed that on the chocolate 😂 the L’Oréal men’s spray has gone up ridiculously in supermarket that’s the one my husband and sons use I get it from home bargains it’s half the price, great haul have a lovely Sunday x
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
Aldi have the tomatoes
Good to know 😊
We call a cottage pie made with pork a piggery pie ... but also heard swineherds pie.
I like piggery pie 😂
Honestly can’t believe the price increase of that deodorant…. That’s insane.
I use white vinegar…. I buy it from HB or B&M usually in a spray bottle for cleaning and it’s fantastic.
I’ll have to have a look next time I’m there 🫶
Asda has the cheapest sun dried tomatoes
Great haul some lovely meals your doing, I agree prices for deodorants are ridiculous I go to Home and Bargains or B@M much cheaper ❤❤ xx
So true! Though even B&M have stopped selling the one Steve uses 😬
I hate it when they stop selling what you want x ❤️
Where are you based if you don't mind me asking? There is no way I can buy all that stuff for 90ish quid in Brighton 😢
I’m in the UK too, I think the nectar card in Sainsbury’s helps a lot x
After a great debate over tea tonight we think your pie should be called 'Trotters Pie'
We have just had cottage pie made with Turkey mince so we're calling ours 'Goblers Pie' 🤣😁👍🏻
That’s brilliant 🤩 I love it 😂
Sty pie! Xx
Love it 🤩
Wow nice vlog
Thank you 😊
NICE VLOG.........

I never knew it was Chocolonely either!
Glad I’m not the only one 😂
Sty pie !!😂
Someone else said that! I like it 😂
You should name your pork mince pie porkie pie 🥧😂
Cumberland pie??
Could be 🤔
@Victoria_Foulger I've had to Google it. Swineherds Pie is another coming up, but to be honest, that doesn't make it sound appetising at all 😄
