This song is one of those few songs that manages to be euphoric and triumphant without trying, goosebumps everytime I listen
I remember in the original video, someone commented how this was the last song he listened to as a teen before he turned 20 so he could end his teen years with this specific banger. Imma do the same as I turn 20 this May, but I hope the man who originally made the comment is doing fine for himself, It would be cool if this somehow became a tradition started by this mystery user. This was the song that made me become a fan of Kanye then I found this version last year and my mom was sick dying in the hospital and this song got me through those tough times, it’s almost been a year since she’s passed and I play this almost every morning before I go to work ❤️

I remember my first time hearing Kanye as a kid was Stronger. I wasn’t able to really listen to rap music because of my Christian background but getting older and discovering this complete masterpiece is beautiful. I even got the Drop out bear tattooed 😂
Have you heard Runaway by Kanye? The show Westworld did an orchestral rendition of it for their soundtrack. Both are great.
Also recommend hip-hop songs like Haegeum and Snooze by Agust D, he's a very big name Korean rapper (and songwriter/producer). For Haegeum, he mixed an old traditional Korean stringed instrument with a modern trap beat, it's very unique sounding. He wrote, composed and produced that song entirely by himself.
Music has done more to bring us together than anything.

people in these comments sharing their kanye stories. i used to be an avid kanye hater. as dumb as it sounds, i was scrolling instagram and someone used the on sight beatdrop in the video. i spent like half an hour tracing the song and sample back to kanye. i couldn’t believe it. i listened to that song until my eyes glazed over. then the rest of his stuff. it changed me a startling amount, and sort of got me into trying out different genres of music more often as corny as it may sound. the guy has been digging himself quite the hole lately. here’s hoping that he can crawl back out.
