Wasn't Tengu Plant at the time where Sangan would trigger when detached? I'm sure that was a thing at some point, at least in the OCG... If so, wouldn't that version need to be played here?
This was never a thing in the OCG, it was a thing in the TCG for one event, IIRC, before it was clarified that Xyz materials are not monsters on the field.
Never seen one of these before. I never realized how crazy full power chaos was coming from only really knowing Goat Chaos decks which are much slower. The old school power cards showed why a lot of them needed to be banned for ages and even now.

This is something you love to see, a tengu plants vs chaos matchup, and this year it was a rematch.
Tokens can indeed go in the spell/trap card zone; they only go poof if they would leave the field.
Truly cements Chaos 2004 as one of the strongest decks of all time
