What a nice guy. And WOW he SMASHED the lap time record. While smiling and having you two talk at him. That shows some talent. It is ridiculous that the F2 champion is not given an automatic seat in F1 for a season.
I really like that he called out the F2 problem with winning the season. I really think there should be an F1 team dedicated to taking the F2 champion. You get 2 years then you have shown yourself to the other teams & could get a seat or you move on. It doesn't mean you couldn't automatically move onto another team but it gives the winner of F2 something worth winning. So many talented drivers in F2 and for the last 3 years the winners have been without a seat the season after they win. Please note I have no idea who would fund this or where the engine/car/team would come from but I definitely think something needs to be different. You guys have had a great year & I have loved the pod and the variety of guests. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Can't wait to see what you have in store next year.

Because NOT every F2 champion deserves a race seat in F1! 😂 Porschaire in particular is probably the least convincing F2 winner in recent years. Vesti, Doohan, Isasa and Bearman all had more wins than him, and he only won the championship by 11 points. In comparison, Drugovich beat him by almost 100 points one year earlier.

Wins aren’t the only metric. Also there are lot of cases where drivers face awful competition like Leclerc when he only had to beat Artem Markelov in 2017. But that never took away from Leclerc’s talent
Most F2 fans don’t like Pourchaire, but I’m so glad he’s getting positive recognition now since he wasn’t a fan favorite. So excited for him in Super Formula

Pourchaire he WILL be affront from loads of drivers who supposedly are more experienced from him. The guy is charismatic driver and loads simple they ain't have this small little thing to be f1 champions... This driver does. And before I get criticism for my opinion I will just humble say I'm looking 45 years now formula and not only f1. I see loads of drivers coming and go. That who left mark on the sport are counted in fingers. His technique his passion and his character is special mix for being F1 champion. Teo Pourchaire is written to have success if they give him the chance and we will surely talk about him after the end of his career. Just look his driving style and the way he won the f2 or back when it comes second behind from another one magnificent young driver , Oscar Piastri and you will see and surely agree that is rare talent of a driver. I'm always saying driver who worth to be in the sport lvl up the sport. Drivers who bring money but missing the champion spirit the take it down. Let the champions drive F1 cars and not the money sponsors. I do apologise for my long message but this decade wasn't that good from spectacle.. Hamilton Alonso Verstapen Sainz Leclerc Norris And Piastri... We need more on that lvl of drivers.

He seems a nice guy. I doubt he will end up in F1 because of three years in F2. Look at Drugovich. Even drivers who did 2 years if they got to F1 did not set the world alight. Very few seats come up and having to sit out a year means better drivers will also be around such as Bortoleto. If you look at the traditional young stars now such as Max, Charles, George, Lando and Oscar they went straight up to F1. Thats why for example Max and Lando were so young.
I guess he has age on his side for sure tho! Won F2 at the same age as Oscar did. Lets see. He’s an amazing guy so would be a great addition to the grid and being the youngest ever race winner in F3 & F2 he defo can learn the car and get stuck in quickly. 2025 lets see👀
