Dan has to be one of the more successful fighters, post-retirement. Truly a great example of the importance of knowing when to hang em up. Cool gloves btw!
He used to say he is gonna fight again with so and so every year since he retired until recently.
On the one hand, this was probably the worst performance from Moreno going back years. On the other, they didn't look to be in the same weight class at all. I find it difficult to believe that the size advantage that Royval had in this fight didn't play an important role. Fair play, of course, but it was very strange to watch.
I’d love to hear what Dan thinks of Felipe dos Santos fight and just him overall
Kind of wish that takedowns without establishing clear control (say 5-10 seconds) weren't counted...
Furthermore, takedowns that lead to no significant damage nor a legitimate submission attempt shouldn't be given much credence because it rewards stalling and allows for excessive passivity after securing a takedown, rather than motivate fighters to try do damage or to work towards a submission with their advantageous position... Which should be the whole point of having the advantageous position.
Ronaldo Rodriguez looks impressive. Would love to hear Dan assess him.

I watched Ortega break the fight down with his coach and he dreamed that into reality and going from mount to the arm triangle was the last thing he practiced in the back before walking out. I like t-city and if he can get it to the ground I think he wins the belt
Moreno looked so sloppy I don’t know what was going on it’s like he forgot how to throw his hands ? How the fuck is that even possible it looked like he forgot to turn his hips over ?? I’ve never seen anything like this ? And no way you can give Moreno the fight he lost 4 rounds the fight wasn’t competitive..t city might be the greatest come from behind fighter of all time the kid will literally never quit

I think Nemkov, despite not being a natural HW, is a worse match-up for Ngannou than Ferreira, because of the takedown and ground game threat.

hi dan i know u had a busy weekend but did u manage to see the ufc prelims? the aguilar decision was insane. dos santos was a bit suspect too but the aguilar one really makes me question the integrity of the ufc. i struggle to believe that the judges arent being bribed in some way or another. i know dana is a huge gambler and i wouldnt be surprised at all if he and his friends bet on fights. we see it every week... how long can dana blame bad judging!? surely these judges arent blind🤷♂️🤦♂️😏

And Dan I love ya bud but ain’t nobody gunna remeber any pfl fighters names when that big of a skill gap is exposed by a 2nd tier organization that they acquired who literally beat on their fighters like they owed them money ..some of those fights were tough to watch cuz you just start to feel bad for the dude like cooper against Jackson was not a fight there wasn’t any resistance that Jackson had to endure it was just an ass beat as well as the McKee and nemkov fight …they should of never made that a paperview that was one of the dumbest decisions they could of made ..nobody on that card is expensive enough where the need for ppv to supplement the purse would be needed .. I honestly think it was straight up money grab , they knew saudis were going to float the bill for everything and didn’t care about anything coming back to them so don Davis decided hey if I don’t owe anybody anything and everyone is already been paid I’m gunna make this paperview and even tho it will bomb I’ll be able to pocket the returns because they will be all profit because he didn’t have to pay for a single thing .. so instead of helping the organization grow the first chance he had to make a quick buck at the expense of helping it grow he took it , not a good look

Moreno looked like shit to be honest I had a hard time watching and staying engaged with it , it looked like he was just throwing big looping punches and not that many. He also looked like he wasn’t in normal top notch shape . How about Ortega wow what a win after a rocky start . Co-main was definitely the main event but all in all good fights . How many fights did Olivera corner ? I swear every Brazilian fighter had him in the corner lol

The PFL show was terrible, almost got shut out by the Bellator fighters, too much crap on screen and the camera was blurry. Terrible production
