can anyone tell me what will happen if i click on " Launch Visual studio code "? cause i accidentally click on it :(
i am sure you don't want a reply after a month. Anyway, what you did won't have any effect on your installation.
Basically what it does is, "it would launch vs code automatically once the installation is finished. If you didn't press that button then you have to press vs code icon to launch it for first time, that's it"

My code Didn't work without the Python extension in VScode is that a problem from my pc,

Love your course! I have a small issue though in this video with running the python add.py as you instruct at 10:04. I have a Mac running macOS 13.6.1 and installed python 3.12.2 as well as VSC 1.87.2 (Universal) and when I open the Terminal in VSC I don't have the 'PS C: \Users\jaspr\Desktop\Python Programs>' text already in there as you do. This is after saving the file as 'add.py' in a folder on my desktop.
I've tried to add this text in manually for terminal to "look for" the file in that folder but I can't make it work. Any ideas on how I overcome this?
I guess it's not a "make or break" situation since it's just a small code we're trying to run but I'm guessing this might be the same way of doing things in the future and I'd like to figure out how to do it :)
Also, I installed the 'python' extension and 'code runner' as you showed at the end of the video and used the "Run"-function to receive an output but this didn't work either. Here is the result I got in the Output window:
" [Running] python -u "/Users/eric/Desktop/Python Programs test/add.py"
/bin/sh: python: command not found
[Done] exited with code=127 in 0.008 seconds "

Weird, I have the same exact issue. i guess we have either newer versions of either, python, visual studio code or windows os. i am running windows 11 home and this is the exact response i get when i tried to do what the guy said. what is the fix?
