- Here's another rearrangement of the music from Mega Man 10, this time we dive into the dirty waters of Pump Man's stage. This song is very different from most Mega Man music because of how moody and menacing it is.

Before I saw what Pump Man looked like, I thought this Robot Master was going to be some buff, macho, robot who pumps iron. His quote would be 'I'm going to pump you up!" But what I get is a robot with a damn spigot and pump on his head. I immediately thought "You've got to be kidding?" Well what can I say? It's Capcom and I learned to like Pump Man's theme.
The Classic series will never have gritty badass bosses, or at least never have a focus on it. There's literally 3 sequel series for that.

***** Pretty much. In the first X-game alone, I can't find an unlikable maverick. It might be that Dr. Wily is just better at making schemes, not robots.
***** I like some of the classic series bosses; one of my favorites was Skull Man. This guy takes a cue directly from the Undead, for God's sake!

the closest song that comes to this (and vice versa) would be wave man stage. it sounds passive, and both are water stages so it fits realy well.

this is number 10 on a users "Top 10 WORST Megaman themes ". Not remembering this song, i didnt know what to expect, but wow, as someone who doesnt like to listen to 8bit sounding games outside of the games themselves, this is an AWESOME theme. its one of the best ive heard from the classic megaman games, easily!

This is a way moodier remix of Pump man and I love it, I feel the theme was very underrated and this definitely highlights how amazing it sounds. If only his stage were as good as his theme...

@RocmanRaz I think the environment (especially the underwater part) looks a lot like a place where Metroids would hang out or at least a metroid feel to the level. Something about it is really awesome. I wish the level was really long and the music not as loud.

I see what you mean. It has a darker tone than the other stages but it still has some color in it.
Original 8 bit theme is already great and then come to hear this out o o. Supreme great remix ^o^. 10/10 with no doubt for Pumpman theme.
@SonicBoom112 No, that's not the Wily Machine theme. The Wily Machine theme is the first Final Boss theme, the Wily Capsule theme being the second. Thanks anyway though.
i really need to find a way of inputting these tracks on the game instead it would make the game far more enjoyable. your tracks are incredible.

@Xerroo Ha ha definitely, or the Playstation era Mega Man games (like Mega Man 8) pretty much coz they used real instruments (well not all real but you know what I mean, lol /ie. they weren't 8 bit or MIDI). This is a great remix to one of my fave tunes of MM10. Nice work!

@JTxxTrogdor They weren't villains beforehand, they were infected with Roboenza which made them bad.
They were probably marked DWN because Dr.Wily remodeled them for combat, but the creators of the MM6 RM's were from various countries that participated in that Robot Tournament, backstory for 10 specifies that the creators of these robots are unknown but they weren't Wily built. As for 3, well except for Shadow Man who was found and rebuilt by Wily, they were built by both Dr.Wily and Dr.Light the serial number DRWN has been thrown around but I don't think its official.
Somehow I think that would go against the nature of Mega Man music, I wanted to keep that heroic action feel to it. This is just the way I interpreted it.

@JTxxTrogdor Yeah, it was. Slightly uninventive there on Capcoms part, considering it's just Influenza with the front chopped off and replaced with a different prefix.
whats sort of ironic about pumpmans stage is that he was built to clean water orignally and his stage is filled with dirty water.

It does sound like an mmx song for ps 1!!! Maybe mm 11 will be the final conection between classic and x series. Maybe roboenza is a prototype for maverick virus. I think Wily created that too and inocculated Zero right?

I'm really thinking a emulator hack that picks up on the assembly to change songs and NOP the music and plays an mp3 instead so that we could actually play these games with our own soundtrack. Hrm, it could be expanded for any game.

You're right :D I love Rockman 1-6 Complete Works, my dad was even cool enough to get me the entire collection on some yard sale :O they were like "You can have these for 5$ together since we can't use them, our PSX cant play the NTSC-J games" And i just happened to have a modded PSX with region free compatability :D

No, the only RM's Dr. Wily ever created (not counting Dark Man, Forte/Bass and Zero) were the ones in MM2, in every other game he stole the RM's and re-programmed them.
