    I loved the connection made between the primary steps to pray (worship), and to read the scriptures in Alma 33 and the reminder in the latter half of the same chapter to take such a simple step to look and live. A small helm turns a great ship indeed.

    Thank you indeed for your time, your understanding and your eloquence. You have a way of making the written words come alive with meaning and understanding. This lockdown has been a blessing inasmuch as it has enabled people like you to extend your knowledge and know how to saints in their homes. Please continue because you teach in ways that inspire and give hope. I will use your lessons to all the families that I minister with that hopefully I can bless their lives in the way you bless mine.

    So beautiful! I’m reaping blessings of being a homebody during this pandemic. I am filling my lamp with oil like never before. Like the zoramites cast out of their synagogues were ultimately blessed by that, I’ve been blessed by digging deeper than ever before. Thank you for your time and your thoughts! You are blessing my life. ❤️

      Amen! As eager as we are to get past this pandemic, I'm sure there will be things about it that we'll miss--time to "fill our lamps," just like you said. Thank you for drinking deeply!

    I love the saying “ God wants growth not greenery.” This I such a great point. The battle for growth is where we purify our love for the Savior.

    I just found your videos and I now have my new favorites! I found you on Facebook and saw that we have 1 mutual friend, my grandson! In talking with my daughter, she told me you were his favorite seminary teacher from Lone Peak! Your name seems so familiar, but I don’t think it was from hearing it from my grandson. I live in Idaho and years ago I was an early morning seminary teacher. Did you give any classes at the CES Symposium or maybe at Education week?

    • @Unshaken
      @Unshaken  4 роки тому

      Welcome aboard! And thanks for sharing your grandson with me :) As you know from your own experience, teaching seminary is such a blessing, especially because of the amazing young people we get to meet. I haven't done Symposium or Ed. Week, but perhaps our paths have crossed in other ways. If not, I hope they will in the future! Thanks for watching!
