I have a ancient Mayan stone statue it's broken where the necklace and arm was connected but overall you can still see the beauty of it..there is a black ash with like crystals inside it how can I tell if this is authentic I can post some photos

at minute 1:55 what is that round dark circular object. i have two of them very similar
That round object is a ceramic spindle whorl or "malacate" In Spanish.

Why are these statues so weird! Really! Nobody looks like this. These are more like cartoon characters. Just my observation.
