Ty for saying it. I am always,so bummed when the knife I've been saving up for comes w a brown sheath. The smell of leather dye smells for so long but I just don't want the brown and I don't like to be forced to get a custom sheath for every knife. Anyway, have Blessed and Bountiful (and WILD) New Year.

Like the 6 inch Genesis. I can testify to the sharp spine. When I got my Genesis I cut the crap out of my finger just lightly touching the spine. Lesson learned.
TC4 is grade 5 Titanium, or 6Al-4V, the same used in the knife industry. It seems Chinese knife manufacturers refer to it at TC4. TwoSun knives is one example of this.

Chris, I carry a tactical pen edc, and I also spend more than half of my time in a wheelchair, on more than one occasion someone has grabbed my arm, and not wanted to let me go, thinking they could intimidate the gymp. after telling them to let go a couple times, I have used my tactical pen to cause them.. hem.. discomfort, and they very quickly let go. some situations call for aggression, but do not call for putting them in a body bag. I find my pen is a good intermediary tool.
That pen looks awesome! Finally a non-tactical looking pen...that is.

Happy New Year Chris, I've been watching you channel since 2013. Since your single, why don't you take a one year road trip across america in a rv and do your reviews. This would enhanced your show by combining travel and product reviews in different outdoor locations, ie national and state parks. This would sure beat your oriental studio.

okay so i gotta ask did you ever find out if schrade started putting the sabre grind back on the jess x fixed blades ? luckily i bought one of the pre-crap generation jess x fixed blades and used it for the first time on a fallen pecan branch and it made short work of it without any damage to the blade whatsoever

I'm with you on the brown leather thing. It's just too "cowboy," or something.
You'd use that ruike hornet the same way you'd use an edc folder. Am I the only one that edc's a small regular fixed blade (not a neck knife)? There's not many good edc fixed blades, the cold steel Pendleton mini in 3V (for $60) and spyderco street beat in vg-10 are are two of the best (yeah I know that's not what they're designed for, but they're good at it).
I don't mean to be that guy, Chris. It is called Pen-Jitsu. Gosh!

FWIW, on their website they rhyme "Ruike" with "brake". I don't quite get how they get that pronunciation from that spelling, but okay.
No more tactical pens for me, I keep losing them.
I wanna learn bushcraft skills but idk if the teacher will have patience with me. I mostly learn by looking at what people do. Not just explanations.

Hey Chris, ive got the jessica x in june n use it religiously here in Pa, great blade i cut down small trees, shrubs, i trail blaze with it(being im from Ohio) i love anything outdoors. I got my hands on the shrade little ricky n tbh i like it alot. Do u currently have an abuse/best use video on it. If not do u think u can do one. I watch ur videos all the time n dont think ive seen one
