The E variant not coming in White Pearl! I absolutely love the incredible features of the V, but I wouldn't mind having the option to have the entry level E with the color I like the most and saving around 158K (1.265K - 1.092K + 15k for White Pearl) (plus interest)😆
The halogen fog lights will be an asset in actual foggy roads. The white LED lights are useless in foggy situations it's only the yellowish fog lights than can cut thru fog and give you visibility. There's a scientific explanation for that, related sa wavelength ng yellowish light relative to particle size of water droplets in fog. Proven ko to when I drove thru fog in tagaytay last December.
You are 100% correct regarding the yellow vs. white color and fog. I switched to bright white LEDs for better nighttime driving visibility and also better looks. LED bulbs were VERY affordable in the Philippines (Davao for me) and super easy to install. The new connector didn't "click" into the OE housing like the original bulb. I just added a VERY small drop of silicone in the housing to be sure the wire/connector didn't slip out.
I have my veloz G, bumiyahe ako from cavite to launion then vigan tpos dumirecho baguio. Wala naman naging prob kahit sa un even road. Ganda nga ng bounce ng shock eh. Never naman sumabit kahit mababa. Sa uphill nag baguio nag power mode ako at may naka sabay ako paakyat isang montero at isang toyota rush. At masasabi ko naiiwan ang rush sa uphill. Haha, kaya umakyat ng veloz sabayan sa montero kaya di toto lack power veloz. Loaded kame nun 5 adults one 10 yr old. Tpos puni bagahe. Ang mahirap lang sa veloz pag uphill tpos full stop. Kasi bumubwelo sya bago nya makuha maganda arangkada nya. Hindi gaya ng honda city ko na kahit naka full stop sa uphill maning mani talaga. Pag power honda is the best. Pero budget wise veloz.

for family use, the veloz is a great car, you wont be winning and race with the car, but its for a family use, and its economical for me, I have a v variant, i am satisfied with it

I actually prefer the USB cable to be on the passenger side. A). I just leave the Data cable plugged in all the time so it was only a one-time issue leaning over to plug it in (note: For me, only the USB port closest to the front allows Apple Car Play access). B). The cable being on the passenger side also keeps that cable away from the driver's legs. As for the charger. I have an 11 Pro Max with a thick case and it charges just fine. My issue is, that when you plug in the data cable to use Apple Car Play, the cable prevents full contact with the charging surface so it doesn't charge. There is a cut out for the cable (I guess), however, that doesn't seem to help. I am looking for a 90-degree data cable Lightning termination in hopes that's the fix. All in all... Love the '24 Veloz V. I'm very happy with the purchase.
I got nervous and tested my iPhone 16 Pro Max right away on the wireless charger and thankfully the 2025 model might have just fixed that problem because my phone is charging OK. Btw love the videos bro! Bec of them I was able to convince my wife to go w Veloz 😂
For a family car, you don't need that much power 1.5 mated with CVT with a Power mode is enough. Yes it's true eco or normal mode is more than enough for us with a usual 4-6 passengers.

Agree, for typical PH driving, you really don't need cruise control, unless it's active cruise control which is nice, especially if it works in city driving, but usually not available at this price point. The power, again for PH driving, isn't a big deal, just as long as you can get to Baguio with full passengers and luggage, it should be fine. The tiny sound when the windows/door is open closing the door isn't unusual, even big expensive cars do that sound without positive air pushing against the door when closing. The lack of vanity mirror on drivers side is a ridiculous Toyota thing in the PH, even a fully loaded Hilux GS-R at 2.1 million doesn't have one. Again, at this price point, the Veloz is a solid value.
Big deal sakin yung aircon flow. Binenta ko wigo 2ndgen ko dahil walang aircon sa paa. Also yung veloz parang right hand drive oriented(parang old gen wigo yung shift indicator nasa passenger side) siya kinonvert lang sa left hand drive. Napansin ko sa headunit nya yung apple carplay nasa passenger side yung most recent apps

For the engine, its same engine with Avanza and Rush of which have Aluminium block. Problem with aluminium block is not really for long term use unlike an all steel block engine where you can rebore. I read in an article back in 2022 that alum block was created for F1 engine or for racing and since they dont recycle engines and just make new engine every year they dont pay attention on long term (like down the road for past 3 years. So Toyota adopted this to reduce weight but the cost for engine block to replace (not rebore unlike what tou do when the car has reached past 200k kms. usually needs reboring.

I would wisely choose the G Avanza, same engine specs, same ground clearance 190mm, and a mix of mechanical and electrical automation, i really hate yung electronic parking, heard a lot of sakit sa ulo when malfunctioned, so the extra 200K for Veloz with this issues is not worthy. Avanza G could be better if you wanted to keep toyota, and not comparing the diesel innova.
try using higher octane, mag 93 or 95 ka sir, then see the difference in sound. pag nawala, ibig sabihin sub par yung kinakarga syo na 91octane, palit ka ng gasoline station.
Maraming beses na din nabagsakan ng bola, mangga, pusa etc yung roof ng veloz namin di pa naman nagkakaron ng dents. Siguro dahil mas maleable or flexible yung body nya. So walang resistance sa anumang babagsak

Check your cenrter-right aircon vent and compare it to other vents. There's a common issue that the center-right blows the weakest.

How about the one directional A/C airflow? No way to divert airflow to the windshield or floor.

the disappointing thing about it ,is that the microphone is above the home button of the infotainment. It was covered by the screen plastic.
