His crit rate base is 5% so not much to build into. However I say it is always important to use anyone else’s build as a starting point and build it as you line. Test and verify if your changes work well for you and have fun with it.
@ no that is not correct! Viessas base crit chance is 15 %. So with all crit mods and a reactor with crit chance you get get over 50 %. You say the 60 % crit damage from the polar Set is huge, but you do not take the 115 % crit damage with the blue mod? You are loosing a lot of damage

Clearly Vesa is not a he not even in today’s world where everybody’s confused so you’re absolutely right you could go that direction if you’d like to have a little bit more damage rather than a little bit more range go for it.

Nice build, but I would take out the second range mod and put in the big crit damage mod
