That's a deal if it's on the table, the Dubs should make the deal. Cam Johnson brings size and 3 point shooting. Plus he plays above average defense.

Not sure about the defense part of that.
I mean, he's a great shooter, Pretty much similar to Duncan Robinson. Not really a threat attacking down low and his defense is average. Not really an A level athlete as well. Shooting wise he's a killer.

If we trade Wiggs, Moody, & Loon (All 3 are out of our rotation anyways) & get Cam Johnson & DFS, we'll be a title contender for sure with what we already have. Lauri is not all of a sudden this superstar that everyone is making him out to be now just because he's somewhat available. Just because the guys we have don't have "house hold" names that people can glaze over when they say their name, doesn't mean we don't have a squad. We have BASKETBALL players that can shoot & have high IQ. Watch their individual highlights then judge for yourself. Stop going off names. Go off talent. Then combine them all & tell me that's not a squad.

Andrew Wiggins had a tough 2 seasons because of family matters. Try competing at the NBA level when you’re on and off the court. He was showing signs of life by the end of the season. I think of him as a poor man’s KD, which is definitely something. With Klay gone, Kuminga and Wiggs will both get more shots and the Warriors will be better for it. Keep Wiggs until the trade deadline and see how he plays.
Obviously if the right trade is there, pull the trigger. But Wiggs could be that secret weapon again, and most players we can go get are super pricy or not that big of an upgrade. Just an opinion.
In that case maybe GSW should make a trade with Toronto. Maybe he needs family support back home and they like send RJ Barett franchise player.

@@MaxPotentialGreatnessmaybe, but he's still in his physical prime. No reason he can't turn it around if he fixes whatever it is that's affecting him. He's so up and down that it has to be an issue off court.
If Wiggs played like he did in 22', then yeah, he would be a legit #2 and make this current team a legit contender. He did start to heat up at the end of last year, but he has been soooo inconsistent, and we have no idea what has really been going on with him. We just know he looks depressed as a MF and totally disinterested in basketball. Not a winning combination.
If this deal was possible ( which I highly doubt), I would pounce on it right away. Otherwise, with Andrew's current trade value, unless something changes, it is probably best to roll the dice with Wiggs. Hopefully he gets back to prime Wiggs!!

During that championship run you forget that it was not only Wiggins all-star performance but it was also solid contributions from Jordan Poole , Gary Payton, Otto Porter Jr , Dameon Lee , Juan Toscano in addition to usual contributions of the big three( Thompson, Curry and , Greene )

Definitely do this deal! It gets rid of a headache with Andrew Wiggins and to get two quality players like Dorian Finney Smith and Cam Johnson and besides Wiggins ya give up a draft pick! Definitely do this deal! Nuff Said!
That's interesting until Kerr press small ball key, call two Santa Cruz guards as we have almost none, and the 34 forwards that they get last weeks will have the same destiny of all others big guys. From Anderson Varejão do Dario Saric. But still better than trade Curry for Bogut and Klay Thompson for Kevin Love, that what's they had in hands for Markkanem, taking in mind that Markkanem is one player that is above both Bogut and Kevin Love.
I would love Cameron Johnson & Dennis Schröder for Wiggins, Looney & Moody because warriors can play Schröder & Steph at guard because you need someone to cover Steph's lack of defense. Then you have Kuminga, Johnson, and Draymond to finish starting five. They have bench depth with Melton, Brandin, Heild, Kyle, TDJ, GP2, and others. And also they have GP2, Lindy Waters III & Brandin Podziemki if they can get Lauri Markkanen
If we could add both Cam Johnson an D Schroeder to the line-up with only giving up Wiggins and draft picks , I’d do that trade in a heartbeat

I’d pull the trigger on that deal sending Wiggins , Moody and draft picks for Cam and Dorian Finney Smith all day . Moody is languishing on the bench and who knows if Wiggins can ever play up to his level he achieved in 2000. I would also trade Kuminga and draft picks for Markkinan . That would be a deadly line up which would give GS a chance at championship for next 2 years !

I’d rather have wiggins defensively over cam johnson and offensively they provided around the same impact last year. And that’s wiggins at his worst offensively in his nba career. More shots should be available for him without Klay jacking shots this year

This isn't a report. This is a suggested a trade by a columnist. There's a quantifiable difference here. Larry's high if he thinks the nets would do this.
They could spin DFS into multiple firsts. Cam's available for a first right now by many published reports. I just don't find this to be realistic or a thing of real discussion.
