I wish I would have better records, but say close to 100 hours or so in total to screen through all events then final edits. Worth it though to sum up a year!

Quick question anybody like running 80s Ford front bumpers on anything, got it gave to me, figured it would be good on a bone stock no weld compact, no weld meaning nothing on car anywhere besides bumper swap and welding it on
@@johnthebaptist8284 totally depends on the rules but good if you need to run a stock OEM bumber. I would hold on to it, but use when the rules give it the advantage

Did the old front wheel drive V8 cars just not work out too well? Oldsmobile Toronado, Cadillac Eldorado etc... I've seen them in demo derbies but only a couple of times. I know there aren't many around. But always wondered if they worked well in derbies.
Unfortunately the axles or transmissions couldn't take the same abuse as the rear wheels drive. I did win in a FWD Cadillac but that is a rare occurrence

From central PA, anyone have any recommendations for the best derbys within 3 hour drive? We catch several local ones , but always looking for a good derby!
Check out Deadman derby, Hard Core Derby, and Derbydog. They all have good shows, typically on the west side of PA

A crash up derby with modern cars would end in 10 seconds once a sensor is damaged 😂
We already have to fight some of that. Computers made things rather interesting with these newer cars

Tracks are never this big or dry by me so we never get anything like this unless 2 cars are pinned at each other and get the whole track to accelerate and meet in yhe middle

Yo you should go to spring explosion this year at urbana champain Illinois me and my dad went to the event last year and it was really good but we didn't day 2 days only 1 but that was for metal mayhem it was a really good show and I feel like it would perfect for yout yo go to

The best demo derbies are the ones on the streets due to road rage!
You'd be fairly safe inside the roll cage, but its the boiling hot radiator water that must do some damage.
It can, seen people not wear the right clothing and get bad burns. But if you cover skin or wear a fire suit you usually can stay safe

as a kid i always thought demolition derby would be fun, but looking at this it seems to be quite the opposite
Why am I seeing windshields in some of these? They are going to break and then get put into the dirt and then its gonna fly 30 MPH into not only the drivers but the crowd aswell.
Why do a lot of the cars have small rear wheels?
It allows the back end to bend in more before there is risk of bending into the rear wheels
