President John F. Kennedy’s address to the graduating class of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. In his speech the President thanks the graduates for choosing to serve and protect their country.
The President spoke at 11:04 a.m. at the Field House. His opening words "Admiral, Mr. Secretary" referred to Rear Adm. John F. Davidson, Superintendent of the Naval Academy, and John B. Connally, Jr., Secretary of the Navy.
