2 of the more genuinely good guys from that life. They don't brag about coxk size allday like Lolite and Sammy. EVERYONE deserves a 2nd chance and these 2 made the best of it, took advantage and here we are. Great job guys, much love. I've always liked Bobby, well spoken, funny, smart, articulate, seems like my kinda guy

John should teach etiquette or courtesy classes I've never been actually IMPRESSED by how much of a gentleman someone is but every video i see it's one of the major things that sticks out. Curious tho John where di you pick it up was it your parents or is it a natural part of your personality that you can't help.

Ty John my grandfather and mother are from the North End and I still go there to eat all the time. That shooting at the 99 was rough was splashed all over the news for weeks. When the wise guys ruled the roost in the North End there was never any BS there. Very safe and civilians were never harassed or robbed ever. Where Whitey ruled in Southie the place went to hell with drugs and crime! Great show take care!

The incompetence of the Mob, or at least the Philadelphia Family, was really on display with the Ron Previte situation. He was a cop, which maybe they were right to overlook since his Philly PD experience taught him how to be a great thief, but his willingness to play for both teams should’ve been a red flag with regard to his loyalty. Then the Stanfa crew goes down and Previte escapes untouched. No one thought that was weird? At the very least, the Merlino faction didn’t even think to distance themselves from him? Nope, come on over, just bring the cash every week! Very strange. Previte told one story about how he was wearing a wire around a bunch of guys, and the recorder slipped down his leg at one point and was completely in the open. No one even noticed! Not the best and brightest of society, to say the least.

Unbelievable! Something happened there at the time Previd was taken in by Merlino. Maybe paid to get in? Just a thought. It's mind boggling how Previd snuck in and out of various crews, and also beat some raps along the way. You know just from following the various mob podcasts, from this point of view the"Life" really was just one big con. They recruit eager men wanting to join them, use them to earn and eventually kick up, put up a visod about brotherhood, and use all the elements of a so called normal life, including weddings, funerals, birthdays etc... just to keep the cash flow going. Brilliant for the big bosses! Not so much for everyone else. Mind you if you ask many of them, they'll tell you they knew and felt something wasn't right and still proceeded. Reminds me of being with a woman, knowing very well she's no good, and with facts to back it up, and still staying with her until eventually it all blows up. Keep going forward and forget about that "Life"! It's a very powerful delusion. This here life is the real thing and one day you will definitely realize that. Huge difference between knowing something and realizing it. God bless always!😇
I too got involved with the wrong woman. Pure insanity! Married, divorced, then recanted the divorce before the 30 or so days. It took every ounce of my fiber to get away and stay away. Finally about 2 years afterwards I was done emotionally. I hope she's at least well health wise because I know she hasn't changed. You see she thinks she's ok. That's when it's serious pathology. These podcasts help in many ways.

I took a vacation to visit my cousins that live in Toms River NJ. I stayed with them for 3 and a half weeks that summer and they live a short drive from Atlantic City & me and my younger cousin would ride to the casino a few times a week. I ended up meeting Joey Merlino and I got straightened out in the Philly mob before i left out. Got my finger cut off from the first knuckle by nobody other than Ron Previn & I was squirting blood all over the place. When Joey seen what Ron was doing he scalded his @$$. Ron said he was sorry he was thinking he was still in the Yakuza. Someone asked how many gangs he’s been in. He said ahh just the Hells Angels, Yakuza, The Sinaloa Cartel, & Cosa Nostra where he was made by Philly (Merlino faction & Stanfa faction) and the Lucchese Family.

What I don’t get about Bobby’s story is how he was supposed to start a new family. The boss of the Philly Family doesn’t have the authority to just create a new family. Anyone can start a new organisation and call it a family, but if it’s not recognised by the Commission and the other families, it’s not actually a Cosa Nostra family. It’s like Rochester - they declared themselves to be a family, and appointed people to the standard positions, but were never recognised. I don’t see how this was supposed to happen.

    • @Sitdownnews
