The music video had an inspiration on the book Women Who Run With The Wolves which talks about the archetype of wild women! Maybe you can relate the transformation in the end with the speculation about chemtrails, but I think Lana is essentially trying to show how women can be soft, delicate, and also dangerous, savage, and how she feels like it!

The video is inspired by Women Who Run With The Wolves written by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The book discusses the story of a Wild Woman who is presented as endangered species and comments on how though the gifts of wildish nature belong to us at birth, society's attempt to “civilize” us into rigid roles has muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls. In the record Lana uses chemtrails the means society uses to control us and the context of country club as a controlled environment in which control in exerted on women by the rich and powerful men, the pillars of the community, presumably the original members of the country club (this also is a reference to her then boyfriend Sean who is a policeman, thus pillar of the community, and presented as this exemplary guy but was actually terrible, cheated on her and dumped her after he got engaged to his now wife). The little girl is supposed to represent young Lana herself, innocently experiencing life, being immersed in this kind of normalcy, yet it all gets disrupted by a storm of information and emotions that became the philosophical questions about life, death and ways of existence that problematized her from a very young age. This is what the storm represents. In the middle of the night the women get together and free their wild side, hence the wolf imagery. Moreover at the time, Lana and her friend group spoke a lot about politics and witchcraft which also explains the ritualistic nature of that part of the video. It's just something to think about considering that chemtrails and their alleged influence on people are at the forefront of many political/government conspiracy theories. Lana has not commented on the video or provided us with any further explanation. sorry for the essay once again 😂
Just saw her at Hyde Park in London Sunday, it was breathtaking live, the security guards faces lit up when everyone knew the words to every song, it was the best night of my life ❤️
