  • Welcome to my kitchen! 👩‍🍳 Today, I’m excited to share a delightful recipe for Sabudana Fruit Salad, a vibrant and refreshing dish that combines the goodness of sabudana (tapioca pearls) with an assortment of fresh fruits. 🍓🍊🍍
    In this video, I’ll walk you step-by-step through the process of creating this unique salad that’s perfect for a quick snack or a light, healthy meal. Whether you’re fasting 🕉️ or just in search of a tasty and nutritious dish, this salad is easy to prepare and bursting with flavor!
    INGREDIENTS:
    Full cream milk 500 ml
    Soaked Sago (sabudana) ½ cup
    Sugar ¼ cup
    Saffron 8-10 stands (Soaked in hot milk)
    Cardamom powder ½ tsp
    Thick mango pulp ¼ cup
    Fresh cream or malai 2 tbsp
    Chopped dried figs ¼ cup (soaked in ¼ cup hot water)
    Raisins 10-12 (soaked in 2 tbsp water)
    Roasted and chopped almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios ¼ cup
    Chopped mixed fruits 1 cup (banana, apple, grapes, pomegranate etc.)
    METHOD:
    1) Boil milk and add soaked sabudana in it. Cook it on low flame till sabudana turns soft and translucent. Keep stirring in between to avoid the mixture sticking in the bottom of the pan.
    2) Add sugar, saffron and cardamom powder in it and mix well. Cook for 1 more minute. (You can serve it as a hot kheer.)
    3) Let it cool down.
    4) Add mango pulp and cream and mix well. Then add chopped dried figs, raisins, chopped dry fruits and chopped fresh fruits. Mix gently.
    5) Keep it in the fridge to chill for at least 2-3 hours.
    6) Serve chilled.
