As a Bears fan first, NFC North fan 2nd, NFC fan 3rd, and whatever that other conference is last, I didn't really know who this guy was before today (expected Daboll or Quinn), but I've gotta say I'm hella pumped. Break the streak, Coach. 🐻⬇️
I'm happy they didn't get Daboll or Quinn. Daboll came from Belichik's system in Foxboro and as we all know Assistant Coaches in Belichik's regime do nothing good when they become Head Coaches. Quinn wouldn't work either because of how he handed the situation in Atlanta. He'd be better off as the DC in Dallas which is where he will stay. Eberflus, while I don't think is the best hire ever, is a safe pick. Better than other choices though. They just need a good OC.
Bears fan here and after watching this I came away extremely impressed you can tell this is a guy that is hard nose disciplined coach but at the same time is a players coach and loves and respects them his hires are gonna be a HUGE question but I believe in Poles/Flus🤞🐻⬇️
He's going to be great for the Bears.

Justin Houston one of the great passrushers is still finding little things to improve on and acknowledging it himself is what gets me excited for this season we finally got some dogs on every level in the defense 🤙🏾💯

Honestly as a Colts fan that’s my greatest worry now with Gus replacing Matt… Darius Leonard’s and his peanut punches (along with the whole defenses ball hawk mentality in general) was one of my favorite things to watch from our defense last year! Really hoping there isn’t much of a departure from that this upcoming season, if there’s one at all!

At least next season the defense will at least make sure the player is down before walking away🤷🏿♂️
So far just want to see it with our team if he brings that tenacity with the defense we already have we're in excellent shape yet I'm so damn worried about our offense we have a franchise quarterback on J-DUB and for him to be successful we need him upright and running #WE'REGOOD

Honestly I’ve always been pretty neutral on the Bears (only time ever really ever rooting against them was of course the SB in 2007) but I think I’ll be somewhat rooting for their success now due to simply rooting for Matt’s success.
