I appreciate how friendly Medic and Demo are being in this moment. Usually, the mercs are snarking or straight-up insulting each other. So to have a nice semi-friendly moment between the bombardier and the mad scientist is both ironic and somewhat wholesome.
Demoman and Medic have always been quite easy-going, so it makes sense. Soldier, Scout, Sniper, and Spy are the more aggressive/snarky members of the team. Heavy and Pyro sit in more neutral territory (unless actively murdering people), while Engineer is more quietly polite but rarely actively supportive.
This is truly a masterpiece and a good reason why Demoman should be stuck with one eye, also I never really thought about about Demoman with his eye given back, I guess his one eye looks gives character.
Classic example of asymmetrical character design. It's the same reason why Sniper's wearing a hat that's folded and Engineer's hardhat is slightly tilted. It lends the design some visual interest.

This is really well made. The expressions and body language, from the small twitches to the big flourishes, you animated the characters perfectly. Also the montage of the different kinds of demo's eye was a great addition!

does anyone else think that when medic says that he gave demo's leg it's own brain, that he actually put the part of his brain he scooped out into it. cause i don't doubt that he keeps the pieces he took out during his experiments/ surgeries.
According to him, brain scooping isn't an exact science, so it's also possible that he destroyed it. From the fridge in Meet the Medic, we don't see a lot of preserved human organs outside of Spy's head.
Out of all the comic pages, and every issue. This one has always been my favourite as it explains so much about demos eye. I originally thought it was lost in a bar brawl or something and that it was an extreme procedure to repair cause of all the complex nerves, lenses and reseptors. But this comedic scene where the doc explains how many times he actually repaired it and it came back to haunt them is just genius. Even more now that you animated that scene. Fantastic work m8.
GodDAMN WHAT A MASTERPIECE! THE EXPRESSIONS, THE LIGHTING, THE SMOOTH MOVEMENTS. I'm impressed, keep it up. (Since the voice actors did a lot more of collaborations maybe in the future you could animate more collab's too because this is really nice)
The sky and lighting could've been a bit darker and tinted with yellow and orange hues to fit in with the comic's atmosphere. But aside from that, this was amazing!
Holy shit, this makes me want a bunch of SFM animators to animate the entire comic series, like a TF2 comic movie similar to emesis blue. And with how active most of the TF2 VAs are, with the exception of Engineer and Soldier, of course, it might not be very difficult to get them on board, and I think Nathan wouldn't be very difficult to convince, honestly. Great, now I'm hyped for something that doesn't exist!
The fact adult swim shot down tf2 to become a show and instead they made the comics with the unused plots is such a shame. Could you imagine this animated with sfm or drawn with the original cast and all that before most passed?

I still remember I found TF2 back in the mobile game Battle Nations where they collab with some cartoonist character that I'm not familiar but it got me hook up with TF2

There aren't too many tf2 animations shown with actual dialogue besides the few official ones, so it's really cool seeing an actual scene be played out with their models that's not just snippets of voicelines haha.
