TOWER of VASES - LEARN how to DO IT THE RIGHT WAY

- Yay, in today's video I'm going to teach you how to make a Tower of Vases, that is, a support with several pots to place many plants together and thus take up less space.
Because I know that people who love plants like me are always tidying up and looking for more space to put their plants and wanting to make everything look pretty, right?
So this support will solve that, because it looks beautiful, is easy to make and is cheap! And as it is high, it creates a vertical point in the decoration. You know when you want a longer plant in a corner, then this tower will be perfect for that, and then you choose the plants according to the brightness of the space in which you will place your tower of pots.
MATERIALS
- 01 large clay pot
- 02 medium clay pots
- 03 small clay pots
- 01 iron bar
- Drill
- Cement
- Stone gravel
- Expanded clay
- Drainage blanket
- Substrate
- Plants
If you are going to place this support in a sunny place, you can choose succulents, seasonal flowers, kisses, honey flowers, or you can make a little garden, with different types of spices and herbs. I chose to plant eleven o'clock, which is a flower that needs to receive sun.
If you are going to place it in a shady place, you can make this support to plant various foliage such as philodendrons, peperomias, begonias and so on...
The first step is to position the iron bar inside the larger pot and place cement in 1/3 of the pot to fix the bar. Then you add crushed stone to another 1/3 to give it firmness.
After that, place a piece of drainage blanket, or other material that has the same effect of not letting the soil run off, but allowing water to pass through easily, and finally the substrate suitable for the plants you chose.
After that, we will pass the vases through the iron bar, through the central hole. You must make a slightly larger hole so that the pots are inclined and support each other.
As you place the pots, add drainage layers to each one. And finally, just plant and leave those pots well filled with plants.
