Честно говоря тоже не особо поняла. Но походу это из за тайн (которые раскроют в конце второй части) и того что они на публике считаются братом и сестрой.
What happens is that the mother is upset because she already had her new and perfect luxurious life and if her daughter are datimg with Nick is bad for the imatge of the family and they aren't the "perfect family" that the mother wanted
@@Martinita00princessswell it’s the stepbrother. It’s gross and unnatural. It’s like a step away from incest. It’s not about her “perfect family life” it’s the fact that she fell in love with this man and her daughter started hooking up with this man’s son, it’s weird, unnatural and they are YOUNG they barely know who they are at this point in their lives. The first ones to date have the “right of way” for lack of a better word. My point is if the kids starting dating first then the parents should respect and not date but in this case the parents started dating and married first so the kids need to learn to control their hormones.
In the book, it's clear that the mom is worried that her 18-year old is going to lose herself to a man. She wants her daughter to have her own experiences, enjoy college life, live a little. As a woman from an abusive marriage, it's understandable you want your kid to become more independent. Also, the mom knows about Nick's history and is worried about Noah getting caught up in all that. I would worry too. Finally, there is the aspect that the mom just wants them to be a normal blended family and not have the complication of a love affair between two young step-siblings.
I dont understand the mother... she is jealous? They aren't brothers... I dont understand
