Fuck man When my previous cat passed away, it was hard as all hell. I picked him out at a pet store. Gorgeous white cat, you'd think he had albinism if you didn't see his green eyes. He had to be put down and I got his body the next day. He was already in the early stages of rigor mortis and I had wrapped him up in a soft brown blanket. It's at the foot of my bed now. I held him in all the ways I used to hold him for about an hour straight, nonstop crying. Positions as in laying in bed with him between my arms, simply sitting on the chair with his head against my chest. I had the biggest migraine ever due to the crying but I didn't care. That was the worst day to me.

My late Sister had cancer. She was so weak that she could not go through chemo. The cancer spread to her brain but she wanted to go home to see her pets. Her Son took her home and the ambulance after a few hours took her back to the hospital. She passed away peacefully the next day. 😢😢 she loved animals.
