That’s ridiculous lol. I’m from U.S, my first purchased is Rolex and I’ve never heard about buying Tudor to get “rare” Rolex OP, even AD told me they could’t do anything to help me get it faster. After 6 moths , I got my watch 🤷🏻♂️
After buying all the tudors you could’ve just got it off the grey market for less and had it immediately. Glad it worked out but some ads just string people along for useless purchases.

My two cents. Buy what you like, what you can afford, and what makes you happy. Not necessarily Rolex is the only way to watchmaking. The Internet hype made things really boring for actual watch collectors. So tired of the mantra Rolex and AP.
I am glad you got your watch, but it seems like the AD guy was sending you through the ringer. You needed a Purchase history??? Purchase history for what? You should have kept your watch collection... And bought yourself a Pagani Design Tiffany watch, and save yourself a butt load of money, on top of keeping your watch collection. You'll eventually tire out of this one, and start collecting more watches again. Happens all of the time.

It has tripled or quadrupled in value in the year since I purchased it, yet I’ve not even come close to thinking about selling it. I’ve also not bought a single watch for my collection since, and I’m super happy to have it and wear it almost every day. 🥰
while I am glad if someone achieves his goals and I also like sacred fools, being so superficial clearly shows how owning a brand name became more important than proper self esteem. and yes, I admit it is a great watch.
Not about the value or hype for me, it’s my favourite colour and arguably my favourite brand. Even if the Rolex or Tiffany bubble bursts, I’ll be wearing this watch as proud as ever! It’s a lovely timepiece that suits my lifestyle so well. I love this thing! 🙌🏼
that watch looks gr8 i h8 wen ads say you have to buy something i wanted a sub but ended up buy a blue dj 36 as my first rolex because the ad said it would help to this day i have not received a call for anything it pisses me off because im 21 too and theyd rather sell to someone in their 40s with history than someone that has started building from a young age that will give them business longer as we start reaching our achievements
i agree mate. it would make so much more sense to prioritise younger buyers who would spend a larger chunk of their lives buying rolexes, but some of the ADs are simply too thick to realise this and focus on the short term with rich, middle-aged clients instead. 😕
So sad when you have to sell off your beloved watch collection to buy 10k worth of tudors you don't want, to finall be able to beg for the watch you really want. I love that OP, but I would never let an AD force me to sell my collection to buy it. But if I have to compete against people like you, I'll probably never get one... :(
