Wow, the visual and sound editing on this is hauntingly perfect 😉! I love the top, such a useful but unusual piece, and the thought the folding over the skirt to get two layers was very clever, I shall keep that in mind! Of course the dress is perfection, I love the lace trim. I have an ancientish length of black lace I keep waiting to use …
I prefer dresses inspired to costumes, because with a little of make up and accessories you make it a costume very easily, where instead the costume stays in the closet till next year So yay, loved the shirt
same ranking , love the dress, it's stunning. 🤩(you just unlocked a memory, I remember bonding with a girl at school over Practical Magic😂, we both loved it so much, it's time for a rewatch).
You're so confident with how you just guess-timate on cutting the sleeves for the shirred top! I am so type A and I really need a strict pattern to follow, especially at the stage I'm at in my sewing journey. I aspire to your level of confidence! Love watching you create!
Oh haha that's whenever I have my sewing frenzy episodes, specifically in these de-stashing videos. My mindset is that because these fabrics are either leftovers or I haven't touched them due to lack of inspiration, it's fine if the outcome is not perfect. It's actually kind of liberating! Adversely, whenever I feel like it counts when I make occasion projects, the overthinking is real and every stitch has to be perfect. Thanks for watching my stuff ☺️
That's right, I placed the lace trim right sides down onto the neckline, armholes, and hemline, attached it and ironed overturned, so no fraying edges.
The top is so chic and versatile.
The dress has my heart as a 90s teen. I had a few dresses like this around 2001
It's definitely very Y2K :D

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the pieces :) I am very stocked about the dress, definitely my favourite.
Just love your videos. No idea how you don't have many more subscribers. Definitely one of the more informative channels on here.
Thank you so much, I appreciate that.
All things came out looking really cool I think! Also love your destashing series!
Yay, thank you! ☺️
The entire creative production is beautiful.
Thank you so much 💜

@@ThrillsandStitches i love watching your videos while sewing my own things 💞
whew, again - in that first shirt your waist looks SO SNATCHED LOL
i love the dress! it's great
Aw thank you haha, love that you agree with my ranking!
I loved both dresses 😍. I prefer clothing that is Halloween inspired and not a costume. I really liked the boots on the first dress 🥹
I totally agree! Thanks so much ☺️

Dress is #1.
☺️
You did a fabulous job 😊😊😊
Thank you! 😊
A little witchy hat with the scraps
Could’ve done!
I love your videos! I think the silk dress is my favourite.
Yay! Thank you! I agree :)
What a great halloween idea, I loved everything.
Thanks so much! 😊
The skirt strikes me as a good layering piece. Like a lot of layers though. Maybe all of the layers.
Haha so hide it basically. Got it!
The slip dress def is a winner. The Pima dot skirt needs more volume to feel more useful.
Agreed!
Loveeeeeeeee!
Thank you :)
did the lace trim effectively incase the raw edges of the neckline and armholes? I was wondering how you made sure those edges won't eventually fray.
