Me, "My first ever perfect in connections, I'm getting better!" Rangsk, "Difficulty? Truthfully, not very difficult." Oh...oh...I'm not getting better....
Connections - got a perfect rainbow solve. Didn't even think of "types of shirts" as a category so didn't fall for that red herring, but I almost put "filter" with the yellow. Mini - didn't know the names, didn't know IRA, so it took longer, I think around 5 minutes. Strands - got a perfect solve.
I agree with your assessment of the difficulty, eg on the easiest side. I also went for associate with horses rather than logos with horses because i wasn't aware of Godiva and Coach as brands. I was thinking of Lady Godiva riding on a horse and coach and horses.
I got yellow basically right away. I also saw tank/filter/pump and thought they were air ___ or water ___. Couldnt find a #4 for it. Wouldn't have gotten purple.
I’m a seamstress and I struggled after getting the bottom half of strands but i don’t usually play lol muslin is used to mock up patterns but not really a word I’d expect non sewing’s to know.
Howdy. Great job. Peyton Manning led the Indianapolis Colts for years as an all-time great QB. His brother, Eli Manning was Giants QB. (Here in Indiana we sure miss Peyton!)
I made one mistake in Connections. I should have seen the Aquarium accessories because I grew up having fish. So I had FILTER in the Image editing techniques. I knew better than to put ROCKS into the Golf category though I was tempted to do that, but then remembered the traps tend to be sand, not rocks in Golf. The purple was my default solve and I had really no idea what I was looking at, though they all seemed to be brand names. Because of my one error my pattern was 1 in 35,714 Mini crossword wasn't exactly that mini. I needed 15 minutes to solve this. I got stuck at the bottom right hand corner for a while. And I couldn't remember how to spell the VP hopeful's name. No wonder I never do full sized crosswords. I don't have all day, and besides, I've never finished a NYT version. Strands was super easy, nothing much more to be said about that. Got it done quick. i find of the 3 games, that one comes easiest to me. It's funny how you struggle in Strands and I struggle with the crossword.
I knew of a Payton manning but never knew Eli. Had to ask my dad later cuz he knows his football 😂 Also, did connections well. Managed to figure out which one had the horse logo....
Perfect Connections! But are you gripping the club with your bare hands? I didn't know Coach or Godiva brands and I spent most of my mistakes between the 5 ways to transform an image. RIP. Good Mini. 3:22 for me. I had never heard of Tim Walz. Good Strands. There were red herrings galore: EXPAND, EXCEL, EXPAT, PASTE, MIND, MINED, MINER, MUSIC, TINY, LINE, etc.; But I didn't click anything until saw VELVET and then immediately found the spangram. No misclicks.

I mean, I would say more people would know about basic image editing than they’d know about golf or aquariums, so I think the colors are justified.

Eli Manning was the NY Giant QB who won Superbowls 42 & 46. His older brother Peyton Manning is the more famous QB.
And their father Archie played for the Saints in the 70s. There are three different Mannings who fit that clue before you take the length into account
