I truly appreciate that you did this in real time, it showed my daughter that these machines aren't 100% perfect but they are a marvelous help. Thank you!
So brave leaving your phone next to you. I'd have immortalised it in resin or somehow glued it to myself before the end of the vid. A true sign of steady craftsmanship
lol that's my old hone. I was filming with the current one, I keep that one to be an extra camera. they both have covers on which I regularly destroy with resin and have to replace lol
Yeh they are :( I've asked them to keep me posted on stock and when it's available in the UK too. I have to say I'm proper impressed with this one and the price is good too - and of course my discount codes will help
You are so welcome! I think that is mostly how I will use it. My resin degasses so well normally anyway, this gadget will be a godsend for the tricky moulds
I love the machine. Like you I have the other and would much rather not use it anymore for obvious reasons. Thank you for a brilliant review video and that shell is stunning ❤
The other company just bought out one that is for thick resins and goes up to 99 thingummy’s too. Steve Mac reviewed it last week but I don’t like their ethics or their design tbh. This one looks like a space age cake display and I bloody love that about it. I am already saving for one.
I think you'll love it Coyo, I've found it on the website for the US too at £129.99, it's extremely well priced - once it's in stock. Showing as sold out right now, not too surprisingly
I have the lowest model from the other company and I don’t find it that good. I hope let’s resin release it to the uk soon. Thankyou for this review I find it very helpful xx
@miniscenesgb if you set the machine for a bit longer, it will stay at 99.9 longer than if you stop and start, which can make your resin heat up faster :)
You're welcome. I just fond it on the Let's Resin website, looks like it's available in some countries now, but already out of stock. Priced at $129.99 which is a lot cheaper than the alternative too!
@miniscenesgb Tracey I'm in Canada and the exchange rate for u.s. dollar is low right now. So it will cost me alot more. Eventually let's resin will have this on their Canadian site. Maybe I will buy it after I make my b8g move across Canada. From British Columbia to Nova Scotia. Ocean front property. 24 acres I'm going to be living on. Building tiny homes to rent out to tourists. Exciting adventure for this old gal. A craft store to where I can sell my craft creations.
Just a thought Tracey..if you fill your mold and put into this machine for full debubbling chances are the bubbles will over flow the mold. I really like the way you did it in this video in 2 steps of debubbling.
@@dalemaclaren7576 yes best to wait till it's avaiable in Canada. I'm just thinking the US site is a good indication of a very sensible pricing going forward
Thanks Tracey, I have watch the other reviews, I would really like one, but as you said,it depends on price. Maybe I’ll save up . Looks really good. X❤
I've since found it I the US website and it's currently sold out. Rice is £129.99 which compares very well indeed to the alternatives, especially as it's such a good quality thing. And of course my discount code in addition. I think it's remarkable value and I think will end up on a lot of peoples Christmas list
The old one was very good but this one is excellent, so I hope it's available here soon. It's sold out on their US website but the price is way less than I expected, at $129.99, less my discount code.... more affordable for folks than I thought. Hope you like it as much as I do :)
Thanks for the review, Tracey. I like this and it would be cool to have one, but I have a vacuum chamber and I can't justify spending more. This kills me, too, because I have always liked Let's Resin things and this has a MUCH smaller footprint than my vacuum. Catch 22? Anyway, thanks for the review. I really like the not having to reach down into the chamber.
You vacuum chamber, if it's one of the proper big ones like Wendy's, is probably even more powerful though, as they are more " industrial" so you have some great kit there Tim
@@miniscenesgb I bought a cheap kit, but had a good pump. The chamber on the cheap one leaked, so I got a large 5 gallon chamber from a reputable American company and it's huge, the gauge is on the side, so I can see through the glass cover. Works well.
Try spritzing some alcohol on the surface after you take it out of the machine and before you pour. That's what I do. It removes most all the bubbles left on the surface.
